This Is Me

My name is Aoi. It's not my birth name, but nobody needs the real one. I'm 23, and I'm a Junior in college. I'm an English Literature Major concentrating on British Literature, and a Japanese Studies minor with conversational fluency. I study almost every day, and if I'm not studying, I have a book in my hands.

I love technology. I couldn't make it without my Ipod and my Cell Phone. I love listening to all kinds of music, and staying connected to my friends. I love talking, and getting to know people.

I'm in love with an amazing girl who puts up with my insanity. We talk every day, and when we're together, nothing can touch me. I owe her my happiness. I'm a stronger, better person because of her. I'm moving forward, and reaching for things I didn't think were possible. I'm a dedicated person, and I never give up on what is important to me. My dreams and my identity are things I refuse to give up.

This man changed my life with his work. His spirit lives on still, and though he put his pen down for the last time in 1929, he still enriches the literary world today. The pen may rest, but never the written word.
