My name is Brittani. I'm 15, a sophomore in high school. I'm a daydreamer, try as I might to stay in reality. My opinions are conflicted and I change my mind a lot about things. I'm still learning who I really am.

I love music! I'm learning how to play the guitar and the keyboard. I'd really like to play the piano, but the keyboard is the closest thing I have. I like to read and write. Books are a great escape for me and I don't know what I'd do without them. It would be cool to write my own, one day.

I'm in love with The Beatles, even though I just recently discovered them. I can't believe I went so long without listening to them. John Lennon && Paul are my heroes. Paul, because of his contribution to vegetarianism and so many other things. John, because of his thoughts about world peace -- he might be dead, but his ideas still live.

I like to think that I'm a pretty nice person and I love talking to new people. Feel free to PM me about anything. <3

Haha, stick with the steel, since those are used pretty much everywhere. Nylon strings are only used on classical guitars, which is used in a lot less music than steel string. I was just wondering because nylon is easier on the fingers, but it's not so good for strumming songs (:. There's 'strumming' and then there's 'fingerpicking,' and you can do both on a steel string (:

Learn your basic chords! Haha, they're the best thing for acoustic guitar. If the strings are steel, they'll look silver or brown-ish. If they're nylon... they look like plastic. (:
