I'm a first year student at university studying Welsh and Linguistics.
When I'm not reading poetry and making funny noises for my course, I'm doing it for my own personal enjoyment. You might say I am a word nerd.
I'm passionate about minority, native and regional languages. I'd like to work with preserving and promoting them some day.
I'm bilingual English/Welsh and I'm learning Cornish. I'm also interested in Breton, Irish, Maori, Norwegian, Navajo, British Sign Language, Japanese and Icelandic.
People think I'm strange because I like to put weird things in weird places. I like to put stickers on my knees and apple cores in cups. I also collect blue drinking straws because I think they're adorable and can't bear to throw them away.
My favourite Pokémon is Wooper.
I enjoy my own company. My thoughts fill the gaps where other people should be. My thoughts aren't unlike the random fantasies you'd see on Scrubs. Oh yeah - I love Scrubs. It won't be the same without J.D. though. I cried my eyes out on his last episode. Like, I sobbed. It was lame. I'm lame a lot but at least I realise it.
I like sad songs, acoustic guitars and cactuses.
Necklaces, tumbleweeds, lanterns, mushrooms and black and white animals also make me happy.
My dream is to go to Arizona. If you're from there, tell me about it. Tell me anything. Tell me the view from your window.
I'm fascinated by the things people don't notice or take for granted. Like the shape of their rooms, or their accents, or the words they use.
I suffered from social anxiety from my early childhood right up until a few months ago. I'm now trying to develop myself socially - it's both difficult and interesting. I can't make eye-contact and I'm useless at replies. I also have major self-esteem issues and take all compliments as sympathy or jokes.
I have madly insane and obsessive crushes on people I shouldn't. I'm generally attracted to guys in their 30's and I have no idea why. A lot of my crushes start off as jokes.
Being able to see the stars clearly at night makes me so happy I can't even begin to describe it. I feel genuinely sad for anyone who feels nothing when they look up at a starry sky.
During the day I "train myself" to have lucid dreams at night. The coolest thing I've done so far is rip Jason Voorhees' p***s off and snap it in two.

I was always taught to care about animals more than people, and I do. I rescue worms from puddles and once carried an injured pigeon across town.
Jimmy Eat World is my obsession. I love Arizona and blue lava lamps because of them.
