The Dragon Quest Swords game is a very fun game. The game plays like an arcade game, with monsters appearing on a "Rail" stage. You can't avoid any encounters.
You can have sevaral partners come with you, each one with different magics they can use. You just swing the Wii-mote across, down, diagonally, or push forward to stab.
If you have never played Dragon Quest Heroes Rocket Slime for DS, it is a cute game with a lot of humor and plenty of slime puns. (After a hard day's 'slurp', you 'goo' straight to bed.)
The game has emphasis on collecting EVERYTHING, and you can use what you collect in "Tank Battles", where that item is launched at an opponent's tank.

Dragon Quest was formerly known as Dragon Warrior. I still remember playing the original on the NES. It was terrible compared to the later installments, but it had a certain charm to it.
My favorite in the series (that I played) was the 7th (Playstation 1). I liked the concept of rebuilding a map.
If I knew if Yangus' story was released in the States, I would certainly tell you... but I don't. Right now, I'm looking forward to 5, 6, and especially 9 on the DS. And of course... I have #4.
It's nice to know that I ain' the only one t'at likes the 'ole series. Cor' blimey! I'm startin' ta talk like Yangus...
