Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About DaBonster But Were Afraid to Ask
I'm an aspiring screenwriter from California. Since there isn't much to do during the strike, I followed a friend's recomendation and joined Gaia. Now the strike is over, but I'm addicted!
Scriptfrenzy is over, and in case you didn't see the icon, I DID IT! 113 pages in LESS THAN 30 days! Celebration time!
NaNoWriMo is over, and yes, I DID IT AGAIN! Over 50,000 words in under 30 days! Can you believe it? It's like I'm made of awesome! Or, more like some rare, awesome-diligent alloy. Yeah, that's it.
Remember that script I wrote in less than 30 days during Scriptfrenzy? Well, it went on to
WIN 1st Place in the Kay Snow Screenwriting Contest!
I do have other interests that didn't quite fit into the interest tags, so here they are:
My likes include ninjas, pirates, monkeys, ninja-pirates, ninja-monkeys, pirate-monkeys, and ninja-pirate-monkeys. As you can see, I'm a girl of few needs.
My dislikes include people who think ninjas and pirates can't get along, people who sneak unneccesary meat into otherwise fine dishes, computers that crash and lose seventy pages of a new script, nail polish that said it was plum and isn't, and those horoscope place settings at Chinese food restaurants. They know what they did.
My favorite color is teal, but don't tell the other colors, because I like them all and don't want them to feel excluded.
My favorite domesticated animals are dogs, especially Dachsunds, but don't tell the other dogs or my cats because I love them, too. And bunnies.
And hamsters. And mice, and rats, and chinchillas, and birds, and... Well, I love animals!
My favorite wild animal is the monkey, as you may have guessed, but at a close second-place tie are tigers and pandas, so don't feel bad!

No, not this year sadly. Every year something tragic comes up and pulls me away from my writing. So I figured I would try to write a lot of different drabbles and finish up fics during this month instead of devoting myself to NaNoWriMo. It's been wonderful. I've got 2 drabbles a day and finished 3 of my fics from the past four years smile
