I like animes and games that take place in real life. It's interesting.Or maybe it's really J-Pop I'm into. (I like this game. I used to play this years ago. I had no idea it was related to Persona. Unlike most Megami Tensei games, this takes place in ancient times. Chronologically, this probably happens first unless the series takes on alternate universes. lol. "Your Gaia is weak!" Sometimes it's impossible to get some monsters unless you get stronger, so that statement would be said. In this game, Gaia is called "God Power")

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 (Year: 2009-2010) (This game features summoning Personas by using an item called an Evoker, which looks like a gun and is used to shoot yourself in the head to summon them. Pretty crazy, huh? There's also Social Links where you talk to people of a certain Tarot to influence a Persona's power and statuses such as Academics, Charm, and Courage. You have to balance out what you do with your life, and be aware of the Full Moon that comes around about every month. Also, there's the Dark Hour during Midnight where Shadows attack and feed off of people's minds, making them become speechless and apathetic. Their hideout is their own school, transformed into a nightmarish place called Tartarus.)

Yu Yu Hakusho (This manga/anime kicks a**. The Gaiden part of it would be like Inuyasha, and I guess the future would be... The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya or something, which both are way better than that. Still, I find the openings and endings, even for the second season to be one of the best ones I ever seen and heard and I'm a guy. 0_o Kind of girly and childish and yet manly and mature. I'm like the perfect mix, except I'm quite unstable right now, like a prototype. I'll get there some day, don't worry. Anyways, Case Closed or Detective Conan and especially this is probably the only long series I could really get into, and compared to other ones that seem too long it's so underrated. And like, some things just seem way too short and it's really good... It's sad.)
(Yusuke is that half demon half human thing you all heard about, and he lives his life thinking he's fully human just like Shia and Taro's children from Pita-ten. Despite being a jerk and wearing a green school uniform other than blue, he tries to stop a little boy from being run-over and makes funny faces to make up for his lecture, and then risks his life to save him. As a ghost, he meets the surprisingly cute and girly grim reaper botan riding an oar rather than the super scary, black-hooded skeleton with a scythe that everyone came to believe in that tells him he was never meant to die and no one expected it, and the boy would have gotten lucky and not die meaning his sacrifice was a waste. Yep, retarded. But he gets brought back to life by saving his girlfriend from a fire or something and was reborn as Underworld Detective... Yusuke Uramishi!
