Judgment



Flip through the pages of years

To try to find perseverance

Hormones, drugs, explicit messaging

Are all excuses-not reasons

For why children become insufferable

Is it not simply

Are just bad people?

Does the media really provoke it?

We intimidate others

Around us to be formed

Into ego-maniacal analysts



But let’s look back

Were there children

Doing the same 10 scores ago?

Was the world not created

On accident?

Lords tormented and beaten?

Should we throw

Away the cross?

No one can tell us to

But those who try,

We always listen to them





Let us not be hypocrites

Or simply contradict

Our own being

Let us make

Our own judgment

Can we rely on a book

To give us all the answers

Or a group of philosophers

To tell us why we are here

And what our purpose is



For some, they can

But we shall make

Our own judgment

On the purity of existence

Shall we sit and pray?

Or enjoy the fruits of life?

All will retaliate and become clear

When the end obliterates you

But until then,

I make my own judgment,

I live my own life.
