Hello! This is going to be a nice long profile comment, so I hope you have food to hold you off for my rant of excitedness. :3
So I was reading through the Modma's event, well the first twenty pages or so, and I saw that you were speaking of kimonos. Due to my odd fascination and love of all things Japanese, I knew I had to see what you were talking about. I clicked the link to your blog and looked through all of your kimono pictures..all 118, lol. I absolutely LOVE your collection of kimonos..the whole ensembles. The kimonos, the obis, the geta...it all matched so well. I absolutely adore them and kimonos have always been a huge love of mine. I've always wanted one. I'm but sixteen years old, but i've been living off this dream of living in that culture since I was a kid. I had a pair of geta, but they've gone missing, and I miss them terribly..ANYWAYS! I'm getting a little off track. What I wanted you to know is that your collection of items is absolutely wonderful and you have an awesome thing going for you. Japanese ensembles in their traditional entirety is something that should be preserved, not only in Japanese culture, but also here in America. It is a truly beautiful art that I will one day hopefully be able to be a part of.
Sorry I just probably bored you, but I hope that made you at least a littttttle happy. Thanks for your work on Modma's and I hope it goes well.
I pray you have a wonderful Christmas. This season is truly one of the most beautiful times of the year. May you enjoy it thoroughly.
