Well. You know those common terms used around Gaia right?;
K
B (Buying)
S (Selling)
O/T (Offering/trading), their pretty useful for a place in gaia forums called "The Gaian Exchange" It's a good way to make money.
You start off with 3k or 4k and end up at least by the end of the day with 30k-40k maybe even 80k depending how good you are. That's how I made my money.
Their is also another way, but is rare and you have to be quick about it "Buying Mispriced Items" I bought my Wed To Darkness for 200g. That was mispriced.
If someone wants it back; you say no. It's their fault, and they don't get it back. Back to the exchange part. When buying or trading for an item, make sure to hover over the item in the trade to make sure your getting the REAL item. Sometimes people know hacks and stuff. If the item appears like a...Gothic Veil, highlight over it first, if it says Warm Starter Fridge, cancel the trade. Now that you know that, you said you have a 100k in gold yes? Well I suggest working with items around the 40k-50k mark. You see in the Exchange people sell their items cheap, just to sell it faster. If you buy a shadow spirit 58k-59k in the Exchange, sell it in the marketplace, minus the 2% tax you get charged, you get at least a 3k-4k profit. Make 4k 100 times a day, thats 400k. And doing it 100x a day isn't hard at all. In the exchange when your buying an item for cheap (remember it has to be cheap, people go to the exchange for cheap) you have to have a caculater out. To find the right price to offer. Like, lets say you take a 60,000 gold item, muliply by .85, that's 51k. You can tell the person your starting off there, and your haggling your way up. And the end, if someone outbuys you, or the person who is selling the item wants to go only 1k-2k lower than MP you say "Nty, too close to MP, good luck selling though" and shrug and move on. Okay, that's all the basics you need to know. [:
Optional Read (HOARDING): Hoarding is one of the best ways to make gold in Gaia. Hoarding is easy, yet hard at the same time. Hoarding means to buy items when their cheap (Summer time), and keep bundles of them, and sell them when their expensive. I made a big mistake. In the summer, the Shadow Spirits were about 52k! I should've bought it and sold them for 62k, I would've made a 10k profit for each shadow spirit I had. If I had a 10 that would've been a 100k right there.
Hoarding is hard because you need to know which items to hoard. MC's are the best ones to hoard in my opinion, but you can hoard EI's and see where they take you. I say MCS is the best, because back then, a CoCo kitty plushie used to be 30k, if you had 10 of those, and sold them today for 300k, you would make a lot of gold.
*breathes* Done. I hope that's shorter for you, cause honestly, it's the shortest it can get! P:
