Hello, Haoie here, but my real name's Hao. Of course, Haoie is what I prefer as a nickname, it's been in common usage for a long time now. I live in the city of Lower Hutt, located on the southern tip of the North Island of New Zealand. To get in touch with me, use the usual PM process. And of course, I love a good comment. Here's a bit about the sort of interests I have, and believe me, I have a lot of interests.
-The written word is likely my biggest passion. I just can't get enough of books and literature. I'll read anything I find fascinating, be it fiction or non fiction, long or short, modern or classic. Reading is a huge part of my life.
-I'm a huge fan of the Simpsons, in particularly the Golden Years of the show. That'd be the seasons screened between 1992 and 1997. My fav seasons are probably season 3 though to season 6.
-Dance Dance Revolution, or DDR, I greatly enjoy. I play at least 4 or 5 times a week at my local arcade on the Extreme and Supernova machines. I also enjoyDrumMania and Dance Maniax from time to time, and EZ2DJ.
-My fav video game genre is survivor horror. I love games that can give me genuine scares. Other genres I quite enjoy include role playing, shumps, platformers, and quirky or innovative games in general.
-I'm a canine and pet lover in general. My dog is a border collie cross named Oreo, due to his coat. He's very adorable I also used to keep rabbits. Cats are fine with me, although I've never owned one, but I find them very cute too.
-Music wise, I like all sorts of tune, but especially those found in the Bemani series. On a wider note, I like jazz, fusion, Europop, easy listening, techno, house, classical, and a whole lot more.
-Cuisine and cooking interest me immensely, as I love trying my hand at making something new, even if it ends up being terrible tasting. Of course, cooking, when it becomes a chore is completely unpleasant. I'm not a picky eater, but I know what I like.
-Travel I'm quite big on. In my lifetime, the countries I've visited are China [this include Taiwan and Hong Kong], Indonesia, Australia, and the United States. Within the US, I spent time in California, Washington, New York, Virginia, and Maryland.
-Wikipedia, I'm fond of, because it's the best source of information and knowledge the web has ever seen, and it's completely free and easy to access, as well as contribute I've been meaning to edit more lately.
-Of course, I like a number of animes and manga. My fav anime is most likely the classic Martian Successor Nadesico. There are a lot of animes I've still yet to see, and would certainly like to. I like a blend of action, romance, drama, and comedy.
