I am a nerd from the Western US. I enjoy photography, the outdoors, taking over the world, and long walks on the beach... well, if I had a beach.
Also, I am a low-carber - I switched to an Atkins-inspired eating style several years ago, and never regretted it. Actually, it's a lot safer and healthier than the media would have you believe - there are lots of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains involved. Also, it's a great eating plan if you have bloodsugar problems - my hypoglycemia puts me at a high risk for diabetes, but by eating low-carb I can drastically cut that risk.
I also strongly oppose ignorance and those who would use it for personal or political gain. I'm not a 'know-it-all;' I'm just annoyed by the rampant ignorance that could be solved in five minutes on Google.
