Oh I just heard a sad story on the travel channel.
A soldier in the civil war got mortally wounded, so he told his best friend to get back home and tell his wife that he died. His friend told him he would so he journied back towards home for about 3 years. He finally arrived at the house and there was a huge battle going on. He ran through the battlefield, opened the door and saw his friend's wife had been shot by a Union sniper. Right then he was shot from behind by a soldier and he died in the house. They say if you go to that house you can see the woman walking around making a cake for her husband who was suppose to come home that day. You can hear the husband's friend knocking on the door too o.o' Eeerie.

Gayla would be first to die in Silent Hill. I think she would be the one to either freak out, or try to think logically. You can't do EITHER in Silent Hill or you die.
