I see you changed your avatar.
Its hair is also fluffy. emotion_0A0
*fluff competition*

Yeah, didn't know my fish was not getting enough nutrition, and that he was omnivorous, not an herbivore.
No one ever told me that plecos will eat other fish if they don't get fed properly.
All I can say is: My poor babies emo , and my wallet. emotion_donotwant

I had an in-law grandma whose huge oscars would jump out of the tank for pieces of meat.
Being a kid, I was told that they were pirahnas.
Pirahnas + jumping out = terrifying! emotion_0A0

At least your fish wasn't a huge monster fish that could chomp fingers. XD

I'm okay, just busy with work.
Working 8-4 hours each day.
So, up at 5:30 in the morning, getting home at 4:30 in the afternoon, going to bed at 9.
I hate lack of time to do anything. x-x

How about you?
How are you doing?

So that's the name of them pudgy little goldfish I see at the store. XD
(I believe I accidentally called them 'mollies' in a past comment, despite knowing what type molly fish actually is. emotion_facepalm )

Yeah, makes a person feel like a bad owner when their fish go belly-up, be bragging one day to people, "Look they're so adorable!" and then be like, "...and now they're dead," and then wondering what the staff at local pet stores think - "...How many fish does she go through? Is she a serial fish killer?" emotion_0A0

Gosh, not the kind of 'cooked fish' you want to come home to.
I've never used any heaters for my aquarium, they do just fine on their own, normally active - I read on one fish site that when the tetra fish are not in warmed water, that they're sluggish and hardly move, and that it causes them to die off easily.
I'm like, "...those things are like piranhas when it comes to feeding time, and they swim like mini torpedos. I don't think they're dying off so soon." (Maybe you should reasearch before posting that article?)
But other websites said tetras were good with cool and warm water, which - that's obvious, because I have no heater, and they're doing great on their own.
Be my luck I go, "Look, babes! I got you all a heater~!" and then wake up the next day and find them all belly up.

My shifts are basically the same; maybe a few hours extra, maybe work on an extra day, but the rest of the days are set.

Aw, that's too bad.

After my incident with my pleco, I've decided to start researching fish compatibility, size, preferences and all that - so I don't end up with dying fish.
My pleco did eat a bunch of my tetra fish once a while back ago, but that was because I didn't realize he was starving for nutrients I wasn't giving him, so I had to change his diet.
Now, no more missing fish, and he keeps growing in size.
He needs to stop growing. emotion_0A0

What type of goldfish did you own, a basic, or a molly, or other kind?
Mine was the basic solid gold comet goldfish - bought them as tiny inch-and-a-half squirts, and they grew up to 6 inches each, and I had about 3-4 of them.
But they died when the motor in the water filter quit working, when I was at my aunt's house for the weekend, and my mom forgot to check on the fish until about two days later.
Never fun to find all the fish belly-up.

I've never done a 16 hour shift, but no one at my work could do that - they're either part time (most of the employees there) and can work only under 40 hours per week; or, there are the full-timers, who have to work 40+ hours per week (a slight few employees) but since they each have to take over after someone when they leave, or they are set in certain locations of the store only for them, the work hours for them don't extend unless something really big happens - such as, winter blizzard causes a person to stay at home in the country, so the other has to stay over, but that's pretty rare.
I'd feel sorry for you, and I'd not know what to think of working like that! emotion_0A0

How interesting we both named our fish Lucky, although sorry about your fish.
May he be swimming pretty~
They are gorgeous fish, I'd love to own some, but after reading all about them - their needs, temperament, all of that - too much for me to care for.
When I went to Petco about last week, I saw this mom and dad letting their daughter buy her first fish - she was about seven - and it was a fighter fish.
And by the looks of what they were buying, the decor was going to result in fin-snagging, and I was just thinking, 'Worst starter fish you could ever try getting'.
My starter fish was both koi and shubunkin, followed by goldfish, and then after I gave them up I went to hamsters and gerbils, and after I gave them up, I went back to fish - tetras, and plecos.
Although lucky killed the other pleco in the tank, unfortunately, as they were both raised together.
I was never informed they were territorial over time and usually kill other plecos, so it made me feel bad, they were both my babies. emo

My week's been super busy.
Working 8 hours per day, Monday - Friday.
So glad tomorrow is the last day this week, I'm so ready to just stay in bed as long as I can! emotion_zzz

How about you?

I called him lucky, for the horseshoe coloration on his forehead.
However, I should have called him a pain in my butt, although I usually call him 'Mouth' so I'll go, "Oh, look, there's Mouth. Shut it, Mouth."

Thank you!
I miss you as well!

*jumpy individual*

Oh wait it's you. emotion_awesome
~acting all cool, like I'm a cool person, totally cool, nothing to see here~

It's fine, I've only snuck online, couldn't reply sooner.
Hurt my finger while at work, bent the nail backwards over the skin.
Typing with one hand was too much of a pain so I stayed away from the computer most of the time.
Finger's doing semi-better though, doesn't hurt too much to type, but it's still giving its feelings.

Yep, Simpsons lover~!
Running is addicting, scientifically proven - people get 'Runner's High' from it, which produces good feelings.
I know the feeling, but now that I'm out of shape, well.
That GIF sums it all up.

Thanks, and yeah, I like the fish as well.
The aquarium has a LED daytime / off / nighttime light feature, so with the daytime, their colors are super vibrant; nighttime, and the GloFish start doing their magic.
The pleco is the pain in my butt, but I just can't part with him, I've had him so many years, throughout so many tanks.
I remember when I bought him, he was only a baby, two inches long, because he was the smallest one in the tank he was in with the other baby plecos.
Now he's nearing 9 inches, but he's the biggest fraidy cat fish of them all.
As soon as he sees me, he swims like a bullet into his hiding log, but that's because he's afraid I'm there for tank cleaning. lol

Which song would that be?
I'm not too familiar with the band, I might know one or two songs by chance of Pandora account.

Gosh, morning runs.
I'd feel like this after any running:

How interesting, is it a beach sunset view with palm trees or something?
They look so strange to me, if I was to move to Florida I'd have to walk up to one and touch it just to see how weird it feels.
But I'd probably be intimidated because of its lack of branches and tree bark, plus those things get tall. emotion_0A0

My plan semi-came along yesterday, got the poster up, chalkboard is up, a few Venetian masks are up, and that's all I got done.
Too tired for anything else. x-x

No pets, unless you count fish.
8+ inch pleco fish
10 neon tetra fish
10 black neon tetra fish
4 Electric Green Glofish tetra
(Super-allergic to cats; can't hardly touch them. Also a bit allergic to dogs, though I owned a dog until he had to be put down a few years ago.)

Yep, slightly better.
Still haven't assembled the other shelves (which I am stuck with now) and I haven't gotten the entertainment center yet.
I'm stuck with the shelves and entertainment center because, while I spent about $500 to get them all, I'd have to pay over $600 to send them back.
I know one thing, they better be straight or I'm going to be angry. emotion_facepalm

Yeah, I'm so glad she didn't tell me I was in trouble, because I'd bawl like a baby. XD
I bawled like a baby when I found out work called me. x-x

Yes, how things change and stay the same - I heard VHS players were going to be discontinued!
But I was like, "...So why are stores still selling VHS tapes...?"
So what, twenty years from now, will they ban DVD players for some I don't know, x-ray scanning disc device? emotion_facepalm

My day's going so-so.
Super busy at work, going to start working on the room some more.

How about you?
*leaves you a massive pile of Rally's fries*

It's fine, I've been called that before. XD

Yep, you're right - things are already getting better!
Boss said she was glad I was okay and gave me a hug and said it was all forgiven; washing machine now works.
Now I'm just waiting to see the response from the two furniture stores so I can try to return that furniture. x-x

Sucks about your experience with that missing piece.
That's ridiculous!
One would think that with all this new technology, things would be simpler.
Instead, finding phone cases and earphones has gotten simpler, but when it comes to parts to fix things, it's nearly impossible.
I was watching the maintenance man work with it and he was explaining to me about old building pipe size vs new-age machines made for pumping out water quickly, so I learned a good bit on what to do.

And yeah, I'm glad she was helpful.
Usually when something goes wrong, she goes off (part of her freaking out mode) and then when she goes off, I go off at her for going off at me for no stupid reason.
She's always been that way, even when I was little - freaks out easily, gets panicked easily.

. It was many and many a year ago, In a kingdom by the sea,That a maiden there lived whom you may know By the name of Annabel Lee;And this maiden she lived with no other thought Than to love and be loved by me.I was a child and she was a child, In this kingdom by the sea,But we loved with a love that was more than love— I and my Annabel Lee—With a love that the wingèd seraphs of Heaven Coveted her and me.And this was the reason that, long ago, In this kingdom by the sea,A wind blew out of a cloud, chilling My beautiful Annabel Lee;So that her highborn kinsmen came And bore her away from me,To shut her up in a sepulchre In this kingdom by the sea.The angels, not half so happy in Heaven, Went envying her and me—Yes!—that was the reason (as all men know, In this kingdom by the sea)That the wind came out of the cloud by night, Chilling and killing my Annabel Lee.But our love it was stronger by far than the love Of those who were older than we— Of many far wiser than we—And neither the angels in Heaven above Nor the demons down under the seaCan ever dissever my soul from the soul Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;For the moon never beams, without bringing me dreams Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;And the stars never rise, but I feel the bright eyes Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side Of my darling—my darling—my life and my bride, In her sepulchre there by the sea— In her tomb by the sounding sea.
