I recently changed my profile theme and decided that since the About Me that was here before didn't fit with the theme anymore, I should change it.

So, here I am. Hi. I'm [Vanilla Lace] or VL for short. I am 19 years old. I live in California [Northern California]. No, I don't know any celebrities, no I don't act like a snotty blonde from The Hills. I hate stereotypes, and I'm rather mean about it. I like music quite a bit unless it's rap, hip hop, r&b, gospel, "soul", techno, disco, dance, etc. Basically I like the general rock genre. I thoroughly enjoy reading and writing, yes I'm one of those rare few who still reads for a hobby, stop and gawk if you must. I despise trends. I think fashion is bullshit. I like movies and I used to be a huge Buffy The Vampire Slayer fan. I really don't get along with many people because they don't take the time to stop and talk. So I gave up on humans, yay!
If that sounds horrid and emo to you, that's nice, you're just judging me on that. I like to talk to people if they're nice. I've had my share of assholes, I don't need more thank you. I like to paint [like, house paint inside] a lot, I don't know why. I have a cat, she's a spaz. I really like lime green and black. I had a lot of piercings [I took quite a few of them out] and I have 3/4 [depends on how you count I guess] tattoos. I plan to get more.
