Isn’t it funny how no matter how fate plays tricks on you in such a reckless and evil sorta way? Every time you meet someone new you find yourself wondering subconsciously who it would turn out to be in the future, your lover, your husband or wife, your executioner, a person who you will see only once in your life, your boss, your rival, your colleague, or the person you’ll kill in a fit of anger.
Somehow, I immediately knew that this person would cause me the greatest happiness in my life and at the same time the greatest sadness and confusing I would ever experience. I could feel myself getting ready to accept this, to pride myself in the ability I would have in dealing with this.
It was just a second after this that, all the courage I had prepared and all the pride I was preparing myself to feel disappeared and not a memory was felt, only the lingering feeling of loss and betrayal to myself that I was ashamed of later after.
With all the thoughts broken and the previous enchantment I felt towards the situation soon turned to horror as everything disappeared and I was left bare to face the challenge before me, I prepared to face total humiliation at the introduction that was before me.
