And you know... about 2 weeks after that day, my friend in Kansas text me asking me if I was okay and that she just found out there had been an earthquake. I felt loved.... almost xD
Eeeee, a Phantom Brave T-Shirt! Awesome. I'd happily kill for one of those. Atelier Iris, to me, was an insubtantial flaky pastry of a game, that melted away into nothingness, leaving a decidedly bland taste despite its appetising appearance. I really want to play Legend of Dragoon...if the powers that be weren't bastards selling it for £150+ on Ebay. I don't have that kind of money! I'm a bum! Odin Sphere as well, despite hypnotising me for 10 odd hours with its beauty, had nothing on its predecessor, Grim Grimoire. But then I'm a sucker for tactical tomfoolery. And character customisation. Yum. I want to see Level 5 put out another game that unlike Rogue Galaxy does not take so long to leave Japan it ends up overshadowed by other more commercial RPGs *cough* FF XII *cough* Tim Schaffer! I love Psychonauts! Where did you go Tim???
I'm majorly annoyed at hearing for the heroine of Final Fantasy XIII they wanted a "female version of Cloud". WHY WON'T THEY STOP RAPING FINAL FANTASY VII AND LEAVE IT ALONE??! I've started to dislike the game because Square can't forget about it. What's wrong with a new, original character?? The shameless pandering to idiotic fans, the kind that never appreciated Final Fantasy IX, is making my soul wretch.
Also, for their latest game, Odin Sphere, NIS actually made loads of copies. But they severely over estimated their cult popularity and didn't sell all that many. D'oh!
Disgaea 3, the traitor that it is, is coming out on PS3. Literally FORCING me to shell out hundreds upon hundreds of my new English pounds to get it. I hope NIS knows what they've turned me into. A DAMNED FOOL. Even so, it looks so delicious I may just chew off the packaging when it arrives *drools*
