The Song: The first song on my set list that you'll hear on this profile is 'Spectres in the Fog' by Hans Zimmer. (If it's not, please notify me so I can fix it.) The song comes from The Last Samurai. The whole soundtrack was composed by Zimmer. It is amazing. I highly suggest you check it out.

The Extended 'About Me': (For those who bother)

I was born and raised in the same city, and I still live in it to this day. I know it like the back of my hand. You could drop me off at any random street corner and I'd be able to find my way home easily.

I live with my parents, younger sister, and two cats in a one-story house. My room is just off the living room. Sometimes, that annoys me because dad plays his blasted documentaries way too loudly and my walls aren't exactly sound-proof. Otherwise, my room is pretty nice.

I'm going to college starting August 25th, 2008. I've been lucky enough to receive enough grants and scholarships to pay for the entire thing, including text books and a computer. I'm only taking four classes the first semester: English and Health Science (because they're required), General Psychology, and 20th Century World History. I'm really excited about the latter two classes, as you can see from my above 'Hobbies/Interests' part in the Statistical Things section.

My college is two miles away from my house - easily within walking distance if I don't have a ride, which is excellent. (I don't have a driver's license yet, and with gas as much as it is, I don't plan on getting one if it's not absolutely necessary. Everything I consider important is within walking distance.)

I love history and psychology. I'm up for a chat about either subject (either general or in-depth) any time. I've taken history classes my entire high school career, but only started really taking an interest in it in my senior year. As for psychology, my first class was in my senior year, and I grew attached to it almost instantly.

I have an avatar art shop where I sell pencil drawings. I'm in the process of trying to learn how to CG color, but that's improving pretty slowly.
I also write a little bit, but I haven't really updated my stories in a while.

I hope I'm easy to get along with. You'd have to ask someone else who has known me for a while. If you're up for a chat though, feel free to hit me up on MSN messenger. My username there is Yondertiger@hotmail.com. I love meeting new people, and once you get to know me, you'll find I can be a pretty odd person. Just ask some of my other friends. xD

I love, Love, LOVE reading. <3 Any time you find me with my nose in a book, you might as well forget trying to make contact, because I won't respond. If you have a good book recommendation, let me know! Same goes with music!

Currently Reading: The Host by Stephenie Meyer
Opinion on it: The plot is interesting, without a doubt. I'm curious how she'll be able to pull this off in the first person.
Pet Peeve about it: I can't seem to read more than a few pages at a time. I'll read three - close the book for five minutes - read three more, etc.

    Yonder's Endless Book List
(That I will get to at some point.)

City of Bones - Cassandra Clare
The Host - Stephenie Meyer || Bought, reading
Throne of Jade - Naomi Novik || Bought, but not read
The Historian - Elizabeth Kostova || Bought, but not read
City of Ashes - Cassandra Clare
The Book of the Dead Days - Marcus Sedgwick
Noughts and Crosses - Malorie Blackman
Black Powder War - Naomi Novik
Empire of Ivory - Naomi Novik
Pride and Prejudice - Jane Austen || Bought, but not read
    Lord Loss - Darren Shan
Warrior Cats series - Erin Hunter

I continuously add to this list whenever I find a new title that catches my interest. If you think you know of one I'd like (my horizon of interest is pretty broad), recommend it to me. Chances are, I'll be interested. (Unless it's a nonfiction on... rocks or something. >>)

    Finished:

City of Bones by Cassandra Clare: An excellent novel. I read it within a matter of days - I couldn't put it down. This book combines a light sense of fantasy with adventure, suspense, plot twists, and wit. An amazing read, it's one of my favorites. Highly recommended. <3

    oooooo

I also really love music. The list of bands I listen to is very long - too long to put here. The genres range from metal to country, and almost everything in between. If you know of a song, suggest it.
Current Favorite Band(s): Nightwish and Sonata Arctica (their older stuff)
Reason Being: Both bands have this melodic feel to them. It's like by just listening to their songs, I'm warped into a concert of theirs. I love the orchestra work in both, along with the lead instruments. The vocals are amazing too.
    Highly Recommended Songs:
    By Nightwish:
    - The Poet and the Pendulum
    - The Last of the Wilds
    - Meadows of Heaven
    - Over the Hills and Far Away
    - Walking in the Air
    By Sonata Arctica:
    - White Pearl, Black Oceans
    - Replica
    - Don't Say A Word
    - Tallulah

Ahahahaha!!! XD Naw, I hiiiighly doubt that~ It flooded overnight.

And.. I never ride the bus to work - dad sends me there. I ride the bus from work to home/school though, and I always ride it whenever I need to go to town for shopping. <3

Ohh yeah... xD I always forget about that when walking. </3 And yes, seriously. It's so strange. ._.

*shakes head* Well, I'm not sure about my card, because I lost it (so I'm using my sister's card) but apparently, I can use it still until 2010. Which is great, considering that I won't be here for long. xD

LUCKY YOU! And yes, I live in the lower parts. ;_; Which is strange because when the floods happened, my area wasn't affected at all. Yet my school closed down because of it. xD

And well.. a coach is pretty big, and it's very stable. And I find reading in it very comfortable. I like the sounds a quiet vehicle makes, and I like the feeling of it moving and turning occasionally. If you ask me where the best place to read a book is, I'd definitely name a coach as one of them. And yush.. but it's because it's a student card. So I get the fee of a child. xD Buses make me sick though. >>

Hahaha~ My walking distance is usually half an hour, because most of my longest journeys only take me half an hour. But I can walk longer than that, of course. If I am to limit myself... maybe two and a half hours. But if it's uphill, as it usually is.. ;__;

Buses make me sick. Which is weird because when I'm on a coach heading to Dover that'll take me to France, you'd probably find me curled on my seat with a book. xD I guess it's because it stops every two minutes. Makes me go.. ugh. And bus fares cost £1.40 here. >>; Very costly. But I bring a card with me around, and if I show it, they'll cut it down to 40 pence per ride. Which I still think is hefty.

...Oh wow. xD I'd say anything is within walking distance except if you're being hold off by a vast amount of water. xD

Not much is within my walking distance. ;__; As how you would categorise it. Library is, school is, friend's house is, but it'll be tiring.. hospital is, definitely, shops are.. and.. THE BUS STOP! 8D

Nope, nothing particularly stood out for me as "amusing", but I did smile a bit when you said that everything important to you is within walking distance. xDD

Aye. That is disagreeable. Five-year-olds needs confidence boosts and positive feedback, not negative.

Ah. That doesn't happen here. I guess they figure that if they're being bad sports, whatever. We'd have to deal with booing if we were to go pro anyways. So they let them stay but nobody likes 'em.
