I understand where you come from with the hand-drawn style. It does add a bit of texture and character to the show, but I'm the type who'd be attracted to a series for purely aesthetic reasons before considering the plot! Maybe that makes me a bit myopic... I'd tuck into shows like 'moribito' faster than anything else (disregarding the anime bit) because the artwork is simply beautiful.
This is an aside, but what are your thoughts on the latest events in the Silvio Berlusconi saga?
Super jail? You know, I've never sat down long enough to grasp the plot, but the artwork alone turned me off of that show! What about Robot Chicken? Gotta love the spoofs, lol. Metapocalypse is wicked whenever I can see it too. wink
