About

Hi there! I'm Alice, a.k.a. Misaki, though depending on where people know me from, I can be Kylie, Priscilla, Shiki, jumpluff, or Flonne. I was born on the 11th of November, 1993. I'm majoring in English at the University of New England in New South Wales, Australia, through distance education. I've lived in Australia all my life. I'm introverted, emotional, hyperactive, critical, interchangeable, and nerdy. I love animals, and I have five pets, as well as a slightly younger brother, so count that as six. I have long, wavy brown hair (it extends to my waist, haircut pending) that changes with the seasons, brown hair, pale skin, and I stand 5'7" tall. I'm disabled and very sickly. My constant bad health leaves me almost housebound, combined with my anxiety and shyness. To kill time, I play video games a lot. My favourite company is Nintendo, and I used to play competitive Pokémon. I still play Pokémon, and my favourite franchises are the Legend of Zelda, Mario (especially the Paper Mario RPGs and the Super Mario Bros. platformers), Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, The World Ends with You, Animal Crossing, and Fire Emblem. I also read obsessively, and sometimes I read manga and (rarely) watch anime. I am semi-fluent in French and essentially fluent in Japanese, although my spoken Japanese is abysmal! I love science and ancient history, and I plan to be a virologist when I'm older. My favourite virus is the Ebola virus. I also love particle physics and chemistry. I collect plushies and program, specifically web development languages such as (x)HTML/CSS and PHP. I combine two people: someone who's too old for her years, and someone who's way too young. It can be quite disconcerting.

I've been on Gaia since 2005, but this has been my main since later 2006. You can find me on zOMG!, in the zOMG! forum, or in the GCD (Gaia Community Discussion). I'm always signed into MSN, but I rarely talk on it, so only ask me for my MSN if you're prepared to get rare responses. ^^;
