The name is Jessie. I have quite a few nicknames, most of which make absolutely no sense as they have nothing to do with my name; my favourite, and the most prominently used, of those nicknames is Vee. Feel free to refer to me as such, or as Dahghos, and if you really feel like it you can use my real name.

I'm a senior in high school, and I have no idea what I'm going to do with my life. Which is why I'll be sticking around for another year before skulking off to, hopefully, Trent University. What exactly I'll be doing is still unknown to me, and as such, Trent's just there to remind me to pick something. In the meantime, my highschool career reflects my interests well, being English, History, Psychology and Drama.

I'm also in the school's anime club and enjoy the concept of cosplaying. Granted, I've only ever cosplayed as Xigbar from KH2, and the costume wasn't even complete when I wore it (*hangs head in shame*). I would cosplay more if not for my having no money to order costumes/props, and more importantly, no mad skillz when it comes to making costumes myself.

I enjoy reading books by authors like Neil Gaiman and Clive Barker, but I also spend a lot of my time reading manga, original stories (online) and fanfics. I'm in the process of writing a story of my own, but my process is a failure and said story will likely never see the light of day. I used to write fanfiction, though inspiration for it now is fleeting and dismal. I like to draw, or rather I doodle, and I can turn practically everything I see into a face of some variety...mostly because I can _see_ faces in pretty much everything I look at.

As far as videogames go, my systems are the NES, the N64, the Gameboy/Colour/Advanced SP, the Nintendo DS and the PS2. I'm behind the times, and will play mostly anything...provided I can find it in a pawn shop. I prefer games with flashy colours and magical sparkles because they attract my attention...and because people tend to chuck those the most and I benefit from it. Yes, I still play Pokemon and I enjoy it quite a lot; I even play the card game (Waven15 taught me).

My religion is nonexistent, my spiritual beliefs being like the English language--stealing things I like and meshing them into one. My friends are my life, and most of them are actually here on Gaia as well. I role play, just not well, and I mostly hang out in the Word Games thread when I feel like posting.
