Well, FAFSA also gives you HOPE and other scholarships.... So if you want ANY financial aid, you'll have to do your FAFSA. And small student loans for these state schools are easier to pay back than others.
Yeah. It's a good idea to TRY to live on campus so you can get grounded and stuff.
Gah... That's like... Next semester. lol.
FAFSA (Free Application For Student Aid) is what you need to fill out for financial aid things. It's a gov't form that you send to all colleges (via filling in codes on the form) where you are applying. The colleges then award you whatever federal and some of their own aid for which you qualify.
Yeah, I'm doing KSU for all of my general ed classes. Then I may very well transfer to UGA or something. Colorado huh? That's awfully far. >.<
Mhmm! Well, campus housing's pretty well priced and financial aid helps pay for all that and then if you can't get housing on campus, lots of people look for roomates and there are apt complexes around here that are pretty inexpensive depending on where it is and how many roomates you have.
Let me know when you're free, and I can most likely work something out. =]
Sounds like my senior year... Well... Performing arts, a bunch of other clubs, and AP classes. Go senior year. Apply for FAFSA and that takes care of HOPE. You qualify... As long as you don't have too many shitty grades. You still planning on going to KSU? If so, maybe we could be roomates or something.
I've been great. College started Monday. There's been parties and stuff going on campus EVERY day this week. I'm taking Anthropology Mondays and Wednesdays, French II and KSU Freshman Seminar Tuesdays and Thursdays, and then Global Economics and American Government are my LONG classes on Friday.
Know what we should do then? HANG OUT MORE AND TAKE LOVELY PIC-A-TURES!!!
Well, you fill out your FAFASA, which is something you pretty much have to do for a lot of this gov't aid and school aid. That takes care of HOPE.
Yeah, I took AP Lang. too last school year. I passed with a 3 so I get to skip my first lang class. How'd you do on that?
Well, you'll qualify for HOPE and that covers most of the cost. Then, I also got a couple of really small student loans that you don't have to really worry about until after college to help pay. But yeah, if you take all of the AP tests, be sure your mom puts aside... a few hundred dollars or so.... And don't take them if you don't feel ready.
Oh boy. That sounds like fun. Do you think you'll end up taking all of the AP tests? Because that can run quite a high cost.
Awww. That sucks. I'm sorry.
