MODERATOR COMMENTS
Hello, yes I am a Site Moderator! Yes I'm a rather quiet and unknown one, but I've been a mod since January 2005. (Whee purple green name XD)
I mostly handle the Art Arena and Minishops, and occasionally pop up in other areas to help out.
The report button is your friend! We handle reports as soon as we can.
And in case it hasn't been said enough, never never give ANYONE your password EVER! I don't need it to do mod functions! The admins don't need it! We don't want it! NO EXCEPTIONS!
Also be very careful when entering your login info that the URL says gaiaonline.com and NOT something else! There are many scam sites that LOOK like Gaia but AREN'T! Putting your info in those sites is like giving your account away! If you have by mistake please change your password IMMEDIATELY! If you have lost items please see the hacking form in the next paragraph.
There is also NO Beta Battle System signup going on right now, this is a SCAM! Anything that asks for your password is a SCAM and should be reported!
USEFUL LINKS
I can't directly handle cases of hacking, scamming, harassment, account bans, etc. Its better to use the proper channels for the best response on those since there are moderators specially trained to handle those types of things.
If your account has been compromised by another user or you've had items/gold stolen directly from your account, please use the Hacking form
If you have a scamming problem that involves you, please use the Scamming Form (if you have good reason to believe a thread is scamming, report it. If you know someone who was scammed, they need to report it themself.)
If your account was banned and you want to find out more or contest the ban, or other account issues, please use the Feedback Form
If you're having problems with PMs, please report them! This includes things like people asking for your password, chain letters, etc.
If you are having harassment issues, report their post or if its across the site use the Abuse/Harassment Form
If you are having a problem or bug with the site, you may want to check Questions and Assistance forum to see if anyone else is having the same problem and already has an answer.

Enjoy your time on Gaia and try to behave. Remember its just fun pixels. At the same time, always keep in mind behind every avatar is a real person. If its not something you would say to someone's face, why would you think its ok to say it to them in text? I find it very saddening that many people feel being anonymous is a free ticket to abusing others. If someone is bothering you, just report it and move on, don't give them the attention they want. You can also use the ignore list feature.
ABOUT ME
I'm just an old geezer who lives with her calico cat and her computer in a little apartment, and doodles and makes odd things in her free time (what little free time I have). I've been on Gaia for quite a while now...
I graduated from college in '02 with a BS in Art that I really don't make enough use of. I also have a boring mundane full-time job so no, I don't have the time to live on Gaia constantly even though it'd be more fun. I do like to sleep sometimes.
I'm not quite as big a geek as I used to be, but I still love anime and comics, and play video games now and again. I'm a bit picky about what I really like to play, but what I do like I play obsessively. I'm easily addicted to cute or unique fantasy MMOs. I'm a really big fox lover, and am not above being distracted by shiny things...
On Gaia, other than Minishops and the Art Arena, I wander towns hunting for flowers and trash, and play some of the minigames. I have an addiction to: foxy pets, avatar animation emote things, and I like avatar art (I'm generally too poor to commission it though, and I can never make up my mind on an outfit nor do I really have any consistant OCs.) My favorite minigames are puzzles and word bump, and slots on occasion just for the prizes.
Honestly, I'm not terribly interesting.

ABOUT FRIEND REQUESTS
Please don't request to be my friend if you've only been on Gaia a short time, and are just doing it because I'm a mod. I generally only accept requests from people I've talked to beforehand and know reasonably well, and have something in common. I'm also probably older than you think, so consider that before asking to be my friend. If I don't know who you are, I automatically decline. I'm not here to be another name on your list.
Being on my friend list does not exempt you from being modded, in fact it means I'm more likely to notice if you break rules. You won't be getting favors that way.
Anyhow, I'm trying not to be a meanie and turn them off altogether, but I only accept a very few.
ABOUT DONATIONS
I don't do them. Yes I'm a greedy miser. Don't beg from me, it will get you nowhere and is rude. Just because I'm an older user doesn't mean I'm rich and I'm not looking to give random people my old items. I generally have less than 10k, and I'm working on my own quests. Do the work to save yourself. Want to know how to get gold? Here are a couple guides by users: Ultimate Gold-Gaining Guide and How to make your first 100k without begging or bumping. You can also use the Charity/Quests forum to seek donators, or spam the Chatterbox for posting gold.
There is no shortcut to getting rich fast. The people who tell you differently will probably get you banned.

FAVORITE PAST AVATARS
A randomizer of some old avatar outfits I've come up with. For art references, since I change my avatar around a lot. None of these are set in stone, you can remove/switch items as you like. I generally come with fox parts and glasses. I've been going a little more crazy with my avatars lately though.
BREEDABLES PETS
Just a couple of my main breedable type pets. I don't get very many because I don't have much RP time and many are very difficult and expensive to get. So I just go for a couple that are irresistable.

And anything that has a foxy type look (I'm of course a sucker for kitsune and kyuubi), nice art, and low RP requirement. I also like things with horns and hooves (ie goat, sheep, and kirin based pets including anthro hybrids.) Cat-based pets can be cool too.
Preferred coloring: red fox or other fox colors (I like most types of foxes), or natural types of colors/patterns (I love things like leaves and branches/trees or other elements; I also love stars though not in huge amounts), or asian/celtic/tribal/pretty line designs. I also like things like ghosts and spirits or other creatures of folklore. I like most colors other than purple/pinks and pastels. I'm also usually not into pets with a lot of bright colors unless its well-done, usually one bright accent color against some milder colors looks best.
