Today is Wednesday, 4th of June and I just found out that my older brother died last year in July. After my mom passed away in 2001, my oldest brother disappeared. We heard through an old friend that he'd moved to Rochester, NY and once in 2004 he logged on to yahoo messenger out of the blue and I got a chance to speak with him then. After I gave him all of my contact details and got none from him, he disappeared again. Three days ago I found his old yahoo email address and somewhat on a whim, searched it in myspace. When I found his profile and saw his pictures I thought at first that I could finally talk to him again and ask him why he left but after I saw a comment left by a friend of his I wasn't so sure I wanted to know anymore. But I'm the kind of person who can't just sit around and wonder. It eats me up. So I contacted this friend of his and in the last three days have found out that he died of heart problems that I don't fully understand. Apparently since he was so tall (6'8") his heart wasn't growing at the same rate as his body and without surgery, this disease, whatever it is, is fatal. If I had just known. If I had had a choice in the matter, I would've made sure he had his surgery. One way or another he would've gotten better. If I'd known i would've made him go to the doctor. The only consolation I have right now is that he's with mom. He's with her and they're togheter.

I'm a gamergirl to the core. I love playing videogames.
I'm a big fan of survival horror games and first-person shooter games. Strategy games are my second favorite. Yeah, I know, it should be my third but I really can't decide which I like better, survival horror or fps?? Right now I'm really getting in to GTA IV. Now that is how GTA was meant to be.
Gameplay got way better! <3 I actually wanted to play the storyline this time. Multiplayer is where it's at though.
Oops! I think I'm rambling, hah.
Other ones I play are Halo 2~3. I'm waiting for Halo Wars to come out and while I'm not any good at those kinds of games, you can be sure that I'm going to get it and give it a try.

^-^ A few other games I play are Guitar Hero II, III, and Rockband(the guitar....) and I'm currently working on the Hard difficulty. >.<* It's kind of hard but it's a work-in-progress.
Gears of War is another game I play. It's a good game, though the A button is almost a constant pain for me. I can't wait for GoW2, it sounds like it's gonna be much, much better.
Can't forget Call of Duty 4. I'm not very far on it but I usually only play when I see friends on it.
Actually, I usually play all my multiplayer games with a group of friends. ^-^;; I do play better when they're not around though.
One of them distracts me alot. >.>
I'm also an anime fan but not of some of the more popular anime. For instance, I've tried hard to watch Naruto, it just doesn't interest me.
I like Higurashi no Koro Ni Kai and it's previous series that I can't seem to remember the full title to...u.u;; It's similar to Tenchi Muyo in that it's got alternate dimensions/worlds where in each one, the group of friends in the show each die gruesome deaths, often murdered by each other because of a disease that plagues the village. It basically causes extreme paranoia to the point of insanity when the host carrier is killed. In each world, the host is killed and someone starts to fall apart. Interested? His name is Ken Zhu, or sometimes you can search it as Ken Chu. He's a taiwanese actor/singer who plays Yuu in the live-action Marmalade Boy. I'm totally crushing on him right now, I can't stop watching this video. I thought he was just an actor since I saw him first on Marmalade Boy but, I find out that he's an awesome singer too.

I love watching movies. I like most genres, except army and gangster movies. I say that because I can't really think of an army movie that I like. Of the ones I've seen, so little sticks out in my mind. As for gangster movies, I've been forced to watch them by my brother and I can honestly say that I dislike them for reasons unknown. I'll give it a thought, so I can see why. I can't say for the brutality or violence because, I love horror movies like Saw and Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
I'm an avid reader of sci-fi, romance, and fantasy novels. My absolute favorite author is Stephen King. I've read Pet Semetary, Misery, The Perfect Storm, 1408, Bag of Bones, The Dark Half, Four Past Midnight, The Langoliers, The Mist, Secret Window Secret Garden, The Stand Uncut(
Fave!), and Tommyknockers.
Another author I adore is Anne McCaffrey, the author of the Dragonriders of Pern series. I've read many of those books, most of them when I was in middle school and high school. I only own a couple but, I plan to start my own library within my home. ^-^
John Grisham and Dean Koontz are a couple other authors I enjoy reading, though I'll have to look again and see what books I own.
One day I hope to be a published writer. It won't be my focus in life, but rather, a hobby. I do love to write and have so many stories in my head but, the career I want is in the developing and design of videogames. Perhaps I can share me stories in that medium, rather than in writing.
