I figured it was time for me to revamp this little junk space. I think I successfully named every major musician/band I listen to regularly. I listen to loads more though but just a song or three. I'll never be able to mention all my favorite movies. So... about me...

I'm a self-proclaimed artist and writer. Some people love my junk, others despise it with every fiber of their being. I smile at the former and swat at the latter with a large blunt object... or an ax... or their already severed leg.

I love The Joker. I love Nightcrawler. I love the Cheshire Cat [and everything Alice in Wonderland/Tim Burton]. I love Marilyn Manson. I love Neil Gaiman. I love pirates, I love treasure, I love carousels, I love roller coasters, I love monsters, I love a great many things. I'm sure I hate a great many things as well but I... well, really, I'm too lazy to waste my energy on things I hate. Okay, it occasionally happens that I cannot avoid such things but I don't dwell on them much unless asked.

Some say I'm morbid, macabre, dark, creepy, verbose, lazy, insane, demented, a gore-hound, flirtatious, sarcastic, cruel, short-tempered and weird... This is true but I have many other fine qualities as well.

Myself, I'm under the impression that most of my encounters with people evoke an instantaneous reaction. I either get along amazingly well from the start or they hate me in 2.2 seconds. This isn't always the case. My only rule in life is that the only rule to make sense of is that there is always an exception to the rule.

I consider myself fairly open-minded and I love conversation. You can offend me with no question and I can go on for hours if prompted by the right question. I look forward to meeting you, talking to you, potentially stalking and/or scaring the living hell out of you.

I'm flattered that you trust my opinion. We do have different taste but I think some of the common ground we share is in this book.

I suppose bella could be annoying because she's not "peppy" and upbeat all the time but that's why I relate to her. I'm like that XD

TWILIGHT!!!

Okay, I'll give you as much detail and juice as i can so it's not a waste for you.



First: what people didn't like.

I'm starting with this because i figure it's the fastest way to decide if it's your taste.

Many people seem to have problems with bella (lead chick) because they feel like the author makes her out to be too special.

She IS unique in a special way but personally I believe a lot of the negative feedback over bella is due to people being jealous(as sad as that is) and the large portion of younger readers who don't understand some of the more adult concepts in the book. It's billed as a young adults book which I would never normally set a foot near but I found Twilight to be worth it.

The other problems are the vampires. Their vampiric quirks are a bit odd to most of us who are used to traditional types.

Now for the good stuff:

The book is actually written for a more mature audience than I think it was published for. Not because of gore and blood (sorry) but because the romance is on a level that youngsters and even some adults just don't grasp. I think the first book is well written although I admit that i didn't enjoy the other three nearly as much. The first is worth it.

Interestingly enough the first book will have a sister which is basically the events of twilight written from Edwards perspective. He's the main vamp.

Some of the rough draft is already on the authors site and it really compliments twilight fantastically. Helps you understand Edward better and see what he was really thinking at different times when bella had made mistakes about his feelings/actions etc.

The characters are well fleshed out IMO and I DO think some of us can relate to this on even minor levels. There are times when you sit back and go "nah, i don't think so" but I've never been in intense love like this so I can't judge for sure.

Overall I would recommend the first one. If nothing else you might at least enjoy the movie because I think Robert Pattison looks to be doing a good job with the role of Edward.

I think there's a chapter or two posted on meyers website if you want to read that before buying the book. Being the romance sucker that i am, it gets really good for me half way through the book.

Sadly no lemonade anywhere but I can imagine.

I own the book so if you wanted I could scan some of it for you. i'd rather do that than have you shell out money for no reason.

Hey sweetie. Sorry I've been gone.

I got PO-ed for a 3rd time on PI. It was minor and made sense but I'm not in the mood.

Remember when I told you the meds I was on were making me sick?

Well, the doc wanted me to stick with it in hopes that my body would get used to it (because that happens all the time -_-) aaaand it made me VERY ill.

I've been unable to go to my classes for almost three weeks! Whatever it did, I'm screwed until it's out of my system.

It's like having the flew for nearly a month. I think I'm allergic to the stuff but no one wants to listen to me. Why would they, it's only my body.



Moving on. I'm so excited for twilight. I didn't like the other books but I love the first one for some reason.

Really hoping it does well for Robert too. He was treated so poorly by fans when he first got the part.

I want him to prove them wrong.

Pardon my slowness with the pm.

I'm dealing with some medication that has really been screwing my system up.

I didn't get ANY sleep at all yesterday(literally) so I ended up sleeping all day today.

I love staying up at night but that was painful .____.



I'm rather fond of this outfit too ^3^

It makes me feel safe and comfy, like i'm in my own skin. Perhaps this is my darker side?

I'd love to understand the human psyche better someday.

I know all my beasties are like that. Creepy as the day is long but gentle to me and those I care about.

I do monsters too. I call them "creatures" to keep my mom at bay. She used to think I was depressed and crappy stuff like that.

I think I've seen clips of it but I'll find some episodes on youtube.

I'm an odd case because I like beasts but gorry stuff get's to me ^^;;

Not sure how that works out but as long as it's anime I don't have problems with it.

I scream in movies though. It's sad.

Very cool. I have a carousel thing too.

I was going to make a guild with that theme until gaia started bugging me. I don't think i'm invested in the site enough to make it anymore. But I thought it was cool that we both like them ^^
