Some people know me as Chris, or Chrissy. Otherwise, just call me Kain. This account is fairly new. Someone stumbled across my old account, and there was some stuff on there, that I did not want that person seeing. I didn't think that someone stalking me on the internet was reason enough for me to quit Gaia, so here I am. I am now in the process of getting the mods to delete my old account. Apparently I've been on Gaia for a few years. When I started on this website, I hated it. The forums with actual conversation moved too slow, the roleplays were s**t, and the forum that moved fast enough for me to even want anything to do with was full of spam. When I started regularly visiting this place, I lurked in the Life Issues. Shortly after, the LD appeared, where the LI was taken as a subforum. I lurked the LD for quite a time before posting my share of snide remarks, and sometimes useful or informative things.
I'm on the internet a LOT. That means I post a lot, and send lots of random PMs, or just random commenting. I've mellowed out a lot, since I started posting around this site, but I still can be quite abrasive. I assure you, I'm a lot more approachable than I seem in the LD.
I read people really, really, well. It's the one true gift that I have. Of course, it works the best in person, lesser on the phone, and the least on the internet. Regardless, I tend to be a great judge of character. But don't take it personally if you bore me. Literacy, as the internet uses the term, when talking to me, is pretty much required. I don't really care if you use that shift key or not, sometimes I drop the use of it when I'm really tired, cold, or just plain lazy. But however, there is a period button for a reason, and I certainly hope you ******** can use that comma properly. If you can at least do that, talk to me! I don't have nearly enough to do on the internet, when webcomics get boring, the forums start running slow, and flash games just aren't cutting it because my computer won't run any ******** game that's not an indie title. Speaking of indie games, that makes for good conversation. Suggest some stuff for me, if you get a chance.
Do you know the difference between a nerd, and a geek? According to my boss, a geek is a nerd with pride. For having a fashion sense, I'm as geeky as they come. I game more than any guy I've ever been with, even though no one takes me seriously for my retro games. I play Magic once a week, at the local card and comic shop, though I may stop due to finances. PAX is the only convention I'm really into. I love being able to go up, and months later, only then seeing games just coming out, that I got to play the demo of. The swag is also pretty amazing. Spices up my wardrobe with some nerdy tees, and sometimes other exciting accessories. I'm a decent gamer, I suppose. I'm not one of those gamer chicks that are all uppity because they actually game, and are really terrible at what they do. I'm not in it for attention, I'm trying to rot my brains out.
Currently, I'm writing a bad fanfiction. I know I should be ashamed of myself, but right now, I just can't be bothered to care all too much. It's a good writing exercise, when I'm not working on my novel (12,000 words, ******** yeah!). Also, because I don't get nearly enough business with people commissioning, it's a good use of my time. No, I'm not telling you what my fic is about, I'm pretty embarrassed about writing it anyways. Although, if you should happen to guess, I will tell you. This particular fic will probably hit the internet at some point along the way.
Ask me about my music. I'm not nearly inconsiderate enough to throw a playlist on my profile. I always have music running in the background, and I find it awful when people embed music onto their profiles when I'm simply trying to leave a comment. My music taste ranges from mainstream to barely heard of, from metal to classical, from american to filipino. I'm trying to put together a list of all the music that I enjoy, so maybe that would be helpful to post as I get that done. I'm no nazi when it comes to sound quality, but I'm pretty much an audiophile. If you have any awesome local bands in your area, you've gotta let me know.
I update this from time to time. Just so you know.

Hey, I haven't been on due to a robotics competition. We did pretty well the second time we went. How are things? Not to bad I hope.
Wow, thats some wierd s**t....I like you smile
You mean people who can do that turn you on ?
Dude, please I've gotta know, what the hell is speedcubing ?
Big question, you don't know me but I'm asking a serious serious question
How did you get the question thing on your about me section.
TBH, not much of a feeling in the first place.
Oh, that sucks.
Eh I got through alright, honestly. I had some friends and people close to me really help me get through the rough spots. Their presence was enough.
Did you do something to the ankle that you remember?
No, it's not. It was a little more complicated even but yeah.
Er.. what's wrong?
Just people problems you could say, maybe. A bit of a falling out, interesting entanglements, etc. Dx
Well, as I said it's over now. smile
