I've got the same one, from Manchester? biggrin And YES they were so lovely! But Dennis Hopper and Roots Manuvah weren't there on the night I went, and the visuals were broken. But it was all good, they still played amazing, Damon was still hot, and I had an excellent time.
I totally have a similar story, lol!! My dad took me to NYC (it's about an hour's plane trip from where I live, not too bad) to see the Gorillaz for my fourteenth birthday. After the show, I wanted to go around to the back of the Apollo theater to meet Damon, but my dad didn't want me running around the block to go see some drunken Brits. LOLOL. I don't tell him, but I'm still very sad about that, as Damon is one of my most favorite people ever. Favorite musician for sure. And even now, three years later, he hasn't come anywhere near the East coast. sad
Errrr, I'm a younger fan lol! I'm only seventeen, but I've liked them for about six years! I'd have loved to grown up with them, though!! Have you ever seen them live? I'd love to, but I'm in the U.S. and they've canceled any hints of plans here.
