GHOST:
well if you've ever watched "ghost hunters" on scifi, then you know that ghost give off an electrical signal and they can cause the electric bill of the "haunted" house to go up. therefore they obviously need to "eat" or absorb electricity to survive.

As for possesions and polter ghiests ;
the nervous system of any living creature is flowing with electricity and those who are possesed or tormented by these "spiritual" entities some times suffer randomly ocurring fatuige, this could be a sign that the personal haunting is feeding off of the electricity in their nervous system

general concept ;
well this covers questions that my freinds at school have asked me about "spirits"

Q : what about "demons" ?

A : well, if you take some one whos religous and now they die and theyr trapped in, so to speak, "pergatory". then they would think about their life and repent for any and every thing bad that they might have done and after so waiting long for an angel to take them to heaven for repenting, or a demon/chains to drag them to hell for any thing bad they may have done. and now nothing has happened, they are stuck in pergetory for seemingly no reason and they either become disgruntled and hurt who ever enters their house or they go insane, claim to be a demon, try to posses people ane say things such as "your god cant help you now" because they feel that either god doesnt exist or that god does not care about them / human kind any more

why i even bothered with this theory ;
well... if you take a moment to think about how ghost live, or atleast how this theory says they might live, than all they need is an energy source. right now we could make a full repleca of the human body using cersiuts and wires as nerves and this other material called "carbon fiber" (carbon fiber mateiral reacts to an electrical signal the same way muscle tissue does) and with a base structure of bones made from just about any material we want (though i suggest stainless steel or titanium, we dont want wooden bones at the risk of termites XD). now, with this fuax human body, instead of ALL the organs all they would need is a replicated diggestive tract to SIMULATE eating, they wont gain any thing from the food they inggest because their body is fake, but at least they can have a sense of taste and continue a "human" existance. now with the lack of other organs there is all this empty space in the torso, so this is where their "real food" comes from, this empty space would be carrying rechargable batterys or just one large battery custom fit to the the inside of the torso with an empty space for the replacable acid container that they would need in order to diggest their what they eat.

how one might live in this fake body ;
first thing i should probably cover should be the digestive acid and recharging the battery. in the anime "ghost in a shell" (yeah thats right, im referencing a fictional japanese anime) there is this plastic plate on the back of their neck with all sorts of plugs, we could set it up so that each plug serves a different purpose : one to refill the acid container, one to recharge the battery and one to uplaod knoledge directly in to the brian. now of crouse its not actualy a brain of any sort, but for my version it would be more like a giant flash drive or better yet a computer with wifi internet access (kind of like what you see in the anime). now how they actualy inhabbit this body would be either simalir to a "demonic possesion" or to that of how a ghost haunts a house ; lurking somwhere with in the shell and using the cercuitry to move the muscles, they dont neccesarily have to be concentrated in the cranium.

market and prostetic abilities ;
lets start right from the point you would be getting out of re-abilitation : now youve learned how to use this body and you can get all sorts of other prostetics such as wings or, for the sake of entertainment, a plasma cannon, you personal upkeep (hygene) would still call for bathing and brushing your teeth, but not for the same reasons as with a "real" body, because with a real body you need to do these things to prevent from getting ill and possibly dieing, but with this fake body you dont need to worry about anything but how you smell. now where are you going to get more acid for your diggetive tract, well going back and forth to the hospital would be a hassle, so why not sell it in public shops. you could go down to just about any store and with verification of being in a fake body, you could get it at any store that sells it (or would be selling, it might take a while for it to become easy to find as full body prostetics become more known. but im speaking in the sense of what might come to be in the very near future) now i spoke of other optional attachments ealier, well it covers just about any thing ; wings, weapons, carbon fiber tentecals, or even being put into / hooked up to a giant robot.
