"Will you go out with me?" Jacob asked Grace, right before they left for Thanksgiving break. "Umm, well, sure." Grace replyed, shocked and most confused. They walked out to the buses, rather akward, but neither seemed to care. As they approched Jacob's bus, Grace took a deep breath. Finally. She thought to her self. They shared a hug, and Grace smiled and told her best friend, Brooklyn good bye. She waved a shy wave and mouthed "good bye" to Jacob. She hurried to her bus, she didn't want anything messing up her day. She had had a fleid trip to the National Marine Corps Museum, which had gone perfect. The 3 hour bus ride there was fun, Brooklyn and her had made 3 new inside jokes which includ 'It's..... Mr.Hansell,' 'Well ain't that gay?,' and 'Racoons, they are pretty awesome.' After they arrived Grace, Brooklyn, and Alexa (one of thier 'ehh' friends) got a picture with a marine. They dashed around the musem most of they day, learning close to nothing. Lunch was a blast for everyone. All 7th graders love playing on playgrounds that are to small for them. Grace enjoyed talking to her old friends, Eva, Shawn, and Jacob. Flirting with Jacob was the best part for Grace. The bus ride back, it was just an 'lol' time. Brooklyn and Grace..... well they started it. "So Eli, you want to hug Josh?" Brooklyn joked. "What? No, no I don't," Eli argued. "Huh? I heard my name," Josh intercepted. "They asked if I wanted to hug you, and no I don't" Eli explained. "Oh yes you do, and you know it." Grace teased. "Okay, I swear, if you say one more thing about me hugging another boy, I'm gonna beat the crap out of Josh." "Okay, so your gonna hug?" Grace asked. You can probably guess what happened next. The rest of the bus ride continued to that pace. Her bus arrived the latest of them all. About 5 minuets before the bell rang. Thats when it happened, Grace got her stuff and turned around to find Jacob, nervously awaiting the right time to ask Grace. "Oh, hey Jake..." "Hi Grace, umm I have a question." "Okay, whats your question?" "Will you go out with me?" So I've told you the rest of that day, lets get to when Grace arrived at her house. Her uncle had just pulled up, oh god. Here comes a couple of days where she is shown no respect. The perfect thing to ruin her perfect day.
