What I meant by "answer the phone", Is that your prayers would be answered eventually.

Meditate, Use mandalas and meditate. Try praying! Try lucid dreaming! Write down your dreams! get in touch with your spiritual side a bit.
Ask a deity for an experience, Write letters to angels or something, you must try if you truly desire an experience.

It takes a while for divine entities to answer the phone and read letters. But call several times and write several times and I'm sure you'll eventually get an answer.

People start wars, propaganda, and fear fuel them,
and People make choices in life, and hide behind things like science, to cope.
