I hope so... I've been telling them ever since they moved in here that there were water moccasins (which are one of the most venomous snakes in the US). I was fishing right after they moved in here and one slithered right past my foot and into the pond. My mom kept telling me "No, it wasn't a water moccasin."

Well they know now.
