ABOUT ME:
Hi! Feel free to call me Rose. I'm 18, an incoming freshman to Ithaca College, and an aspiring journalist/novelist/essayist/writer in general. I hope to become a Copy Editor or writer for a newspaper (or even a writer for a video game or anime magazine! ) and write my own creative works on the side--I don't care if they get published or not; I write only for me. I'm working on the first draft of my first novel right now. I also hope I can write for a video game magazine when I'm not editing some other magazine or newspaper. I'm an agnostic who's looking into Buddhism. I'm extremely liberal and not in the mainstream left. Everyone jokes that I'm a Communist, but I'm really more of a democratic socialist. I'm an idealist. I love to laugh and most of the time I'm smiling.

Spiral: Suiri no Kizuna, Death Note, Yu Yu Hakusho, Fruits Basket, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Gunslinger Girl, Hell Girl, Rurouni Kenshin, D.N.Angel, Fullmetal Alchemist, Ouran High School Host Club, .hack//SIGN, Chrono Crusade, Wolf's Rain, Naruto, Azumanga Daioh, Haibane Renmei, Bleach, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Lucky Star, Chobits, Magic Knight Rayearth, Naruto Shippuden, Invader Zim (my favorite American cartoon! I'm just putting it here because I feel like it), Paranoia Agent, The Wallflower, and Sensual Phrase. I also ADORE Yu-Gi-Oh: The Abridged Series. Little Kuriboh is a genius!

FAVORITE VIDEO GAMES:
Tales of Symphonia, Tales of the Abyss, Tales of Symphonia 2, Legend of Zelda series (Twilight Princess and Windwaker FTW!), Super Smash Bros. series, Fire Emblem series (Rekka no Ken being my favorite of all), all of the Mario games, Pokemon, Final Fantasy series, Guitar Hero, DDR. I have an old SEGA Genesis somewhere in the house, an N64, a Gamecube, a Wii, a DS, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, and a PS2. As you can see, I'm a Nintendo fangirl. Unfortunately, I don't own a NES or SNES. I was first introduced to SEGA before I knew about Nintendo, so by the time I liked Nintendo people had moved onto SNES. My parents didn't want to buy one for me, so I just played it at a friend's house.

The Ender and Shadow series by Orson Scott Card, 1984 by George Orwell (who I love so much! His essays are just as good as his books <3), Angels and Demons and Deception Point by Dan Brown, The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, America: The Book by Jon Stewart and The Daily Show, I Am America (And So Can You!) by Stephen Colbert, and The Stranger by Albert Camus. My very favorite Shakespeare plays are Hamlet and Macbeth but I also really love Much Ado About Nothing and Taming of the Shrew.

My favorite authors include George Orwell, Orson Scott Card (even though he is an a*****e--it just goes to show that even the greatest writers can still be immature jerks), Edgar Allan Poe, and William Shakespeare.
