I'm Rachel, screen name Rachel Roth, (comic book fans might get it.) real name Rachel. I won't tell you my last name, that'd just be dumb. Okay, well, maybe not, but whatever. I'm 14, in case you're wondering, but don't judge me by my age. Seriously.

Anyways, I like comic books, my friends know that. i'm into the classic Teen titans comics, also known as the Marv and George era, but I have a small grudge against the 'toon...sorry Teen Titans GO! fans... i'll read any comic I can get my hands on, really, but if I have a choice it's going to be anything Titans. (George's art is beautifull, I really liked all the work he did on the Titans, and his Wonder Woman work was awesome too!)

I hope to become a professional cartoonist one day, I really, really do. I usually draw for hours a day, anyways. I draw superheroes i'm kinda bad for not actually drawing from real life all that much. You can Check out my art on photobucket, my username is Renthead_r. Yeah, I know i'm a dork, but i'm a proud one, so I don't mind the title. Why should I? I've been called "Emo" among other things, but hey, I just let all the people have their fun, and just ignore em'. I basically only read comics and graphic novels, i think once I read through a whole manga book, but really it was only because it was a Batman manga book and I didn't know it was actually in manga style ...I have no problem with manga, by the way. It's just not my thing.

I sometimes read novels, but not as much as the whole world seems to think I should. Probably the best novel i've ever read in my life was "The Astonishing Adventures Of Fanboy And Goth Girl." by Barry Lyga. It kicked serious a**. I don't read many books, but if you only ever read comics, or even if you've just been stereotyped as a "Goth" or "Emo", check this book out. It was crazy awesome.

I guess I only picked it up because the cover really reminded me of the Rocky Horror Show, which is the best musical i've heard aside from RENT, which is by far the coolest musical in the world. No joke, check it out if you haven't and you get the chance. Yeah, i'm also a proud RENThead...And boy, did I earn that one! Hours of RENT songs on repeat, tons of RENT stuff in my room and me belting out the songs anywhere I can when I think i'm alone got me the RENThead name. It's a good life.
