This is just a small list I'll be adding to. Hopefully it'll be of some help to anyone looking at my profile =D
You see a Thread that needs to be moved I recommend that the easiest way to get a thread moved is to report the thread and write a little explanation as to why the thread should be moved. That way, if no moderators are around, it's on record so it will get looked at. Although, you're more than welcome to contact an online moderator or helper and provide a link to a thread(s) you'd like to see moved. Keep in mind, only request/report thread moves that violate Forum rules and stickies.
You see a TOS violation Immediately report it! TOS violations include everything from trolling, flaming, scamming, cybering, etc. Full list available here: http://www.gaiaonline.com/info/index.php?mode=tos Another option is to copy the URL of the thread and PM the link to a moderator so they can look it over. Some things require immediate attention (such as when a user links to a website that asks for your password!), and it's probably better to send a PM for those if you see them =D
You see a Post / Thread that needs to be deleted Threads or posts that need to be deleted often are those which violate the TOS. Some examples include page stretching spam, cybering, flaming, scamming, or the user has an oversized signature. Simply press the report post or thread button and include an explanation as to why you think the post should be deleted. If you report a user for an oversized signature (beyond 500x500 pixels and/or over 100kbs in size) the post or thread won't be deleted unless it violates the rules.
You're being FLAMED by another user The first thing I can recommend is to NOT reply back to the flamer. Flaming usually consists of a user taking side jabs at another user, such as calling another user names, insulting the user for doing something, or even just harassing the user on their thread. Simply report the posts and don't talk / provoke the user you're reporting.
When REPORTING When reporting a post or thread, I suggest not telling the user you're reporting them please @_@ Often this can escalate problems a lot more. Also, don't be afraid to report a user or their posts/threads. The reporting system is private and we don't disclose who reports to other users. So don't be afraid to send in a few reports^^
You got HACKED If you still have access to your account, immediately attempt to change or recover the password. If you can't, then contact a moderator for assistance. It's recommended though to fill out a hacking report:

Someone is ASKING for your PASSWORD If someone contacted you requesting your password, immediately press the report PM button and file a report on that PM. You can also contact an online moderator to ensure the user doesn't stick around to scam more people. If you filed a report, just send the username and quote the PM when you contact the moderator.
