My name is Kristin. However, everyone (friends, family, etc...) calls me Kiki. The nickname came from when my little brother was learning to talk and he couldn't pronounce "Kristin."

I'm 18, female, and currently attending college. I'm studying sequential art (comic art). I hope to publish manga as a profession, but since artists apparently have to suffer to get a good job, I'll probably end up begging on the streets before I do anything. I enjoy anime and manga, but unlike most fans of it I will not follow a series unless it has good characters, an original (or mostly original) plot, and isn't terribly cliche. Unlike the majority of anime fans I don't obsess over pairings and I actually follow the story rather than search for hints as to why So-and-so are meant for each other.

I have my own webcomic that does (and has for over two years) update regularly. It's called Kuro Shouri, and you can see it at either kikirini.deviantart.com or kuroshouri.smackjeeves.com. Leave me a comment if you read it.

Lastly, I love kittens, I hate chocolate but love olives, and Death Note is my favorite manga.
