Some people have commented on my lack of high ratings when it comes to avatars and poetry in the arena. However, I give them based on a general system that I have. If I consider it an average poem/avatar, I'll rate it a three. However, if it really sticks out, I'll give it a five.

So far, I've probably given out more threes and fours than anything else. I admit, I have been very critical of some entries, but... well, I rated them as I saw them.
Don't rate me poorly because of how I judge other entries, rate me based on the quality of what I submit. :/

To All Haters, and I have a good idea who you are

KNOCK IT OFF. RATING a person's poetry, a written form of their emotions, in a negative fashion WITHOUT AN EXPLANATION is downright rude. You deny the authors of the ability to improve their poetry. Furthermore, and this is the majority of the time, you are simply COWARDS. You SNIPE at a person in such a way that they can't make a comeback.

How have I experienced this? Well, back when I first started writing poetry on this site, every person, and I mean EVERY person, who rated me commented as to the reasoning behind their ratings, some even PM'd me. Now? I'm getting three or four anonymous ratings, all at around 2 stars, on EVERY single bit of poetic work that I write, without a comment in sight. I have a very strong feeling that someone is purposely sabotaging my overall arena rating.

Maybe you're jealous? Maybe you're mad? I don't know, it's not my place to say. But only COWARDS masturbate to SABOTAGING someone else's hard work and messing with their fanbase. GROW UP or LEAVE GAIA.

So, if you haven't figured out from the above statement, I'm really into poetry. I'm an insomniac, and there are many nights where I'm sitting in my room for hours before I fall asleep. I find that listening to soft orchestral music and writing poetry help me sleep.

However, I listen to many kinds of music besides poetry. My favorite bands are Killswitch Engage and Rise Against. The only kind of music I can't stand is rap (which is kind of ironic since I'm a poet, lol) but I'm open to a few songs in that genre.

Yes, I AM a wrestler. It's the toughest sport out there - three hours of back-breaking practice every day, meets on Wednesday nights and all Saturday, a strict diet - but you know what? It's my passion, and my dream.

I've gotten comments about 'how all wrestlers are gay' and 'guys in spandex are gay.' I have one statement for you. All you haters out there can suck my hypothetical ****.

Why, why, WHY do people post **** in the Poetry & Lyrics section if it ain't poetry or lyrics?

EX:

"This girl likes this guy
& he likes her back, but her mother
wants her to focus on her grayds at school,
she sends him texts with her phone,
but her mom caught her texting,
& stopped her Verizon plan.
Now she is trapped,
& none of her BFF's can text her when she's at Cheerleading practice.

She knows she should stop dating him,
but she doesn't want to.
Will she?"

OH MY GOD! If I have to read through another one of those... these spasm-inducing 'poems', I'm gonna torture an innocent soul with the blunt end of a rusty spork. And, no, that's not a metaphor.
