I take it from the smile that you won't mind if I call you that once in a while? ^^;

I hope you won't mind in case it slips out once in a while, but sometimes I feel like calling you "Fuji-cakes". ^^;;

You seem like a really intelligent user (basing on your posts in that Aekea trolling thread we were both in). I just thought I'd comment to praise you, because Gaia is quickly turning into a coven of the dim-witted.

You're very welcome. ^^ Actually, I didn't know about PG at all until a friend clued me in, and then later told me that some of Maurice's books were there... but once I knew I gathered up all they had. ^^

As for the "diamond necklace scandal", I assume you mean Marie Antoinette... Didn't know that someone named Cagliostro was involved, but then I have to admit that I haven't done a lot of reading about Marie and the Revolution... I probably should, though, seeing as how I do have some interest in it, thanks to The Rose of Versailles. ^^

Anyway, you're welcome once again... and I hope you enjoy your trip, whether it be for business or vacation! ^^

Actually, at Project Gutenberg you can get free, public domain plain-vanilla e-texts of a fair few of Maurice's Lupin novels, all translated in English. ^^ I think I've gotten all that's been put up there, though I really wish they'd get around to putting up an English translation of La Comtesse de Cagliostro... just because I assume it was Miyazaki's basis for a certain movie... ^_~

Oh, don't worry about taking so long to respond to my previous comment. ^^ I know full well there's life outside of Gaia, and sometimes it can take a while for people to log back in. Still, glad to hear back from you.

By the way, have you read any of Maurice Leblanc's novels about the original Lupin? I've read quite a few myself, and so far they've all been great reads.
