Hey everyone! It's me again, Atsuko Shira! (But really, just Shira's good.) For those of you coming from FanFictionNet, don't worry: you didn't end up in the wrong place. Well, to be totally honest, you're not in the right place, but it doesn't exist yet and probably never will. The original plan was to give me my own account, but Songbird of the End (or kakara-nee-chan, on this site) didn't want to have to give me my own email address either, so I got down-graded to a journal entry.
Well, I'm not too broken up about it. "Life's tough, then you die," as my partner always says.
Hm? Who am I? Ah right, I guess I forgot to explain myself. As I said, I'm Shira, a star in Songbird's Digimon Breakers. And now we have good news: the prologue is finally posted! And she's even proposing a regular updating schedule instead of just once a year like all her other stories.
Well... I wouldn't be too happy about the second one if I were you. Songbird's admitted that she only has chapters one and two completely mapped out while all the rest are just vague events. The flip side is she's now watching the English subbed version of Tamers and forcibly trying to get the juices flowing for it. (But on the other side, she's now having naming issues since she's growing fond of the Japanese names. Ah well, can't win 'em all.)
Ah, she's also explored a little bit more into the world of psychology, this time with Carl Jung's works. I'm not entirely sure, but I think she set up me and my partner as the whole anima/animus thing...
Oh, and you can thank the TVTropes page for NiGHTS for mentioning Jungian psychology to her.
Ah, no, WAIT! DON'T GO!
Sorry for overreacting, but it's for your best interest to not go on the TVTropes website. Look, you go on there and you will lose all sense of time. Really. Songbird herself has even said that the only upside to being immortal is that she'd be able to read all the pages on there.
But I digress. Or something. Hey, I'm just a fifth grader, okay?
Look. For some odd reason or another, this story--my story--means a lot to Songbird, and she's really craving some feedback. If you do read the prologue, just drop her a line of encouragement or just say that you've read the darn thing. I swear, if she doesn't stop pacing or muttering gibberish soon, it'll be enough to make me go batty!
And after everything I went through, that's saying a lot.
So just go, read the stupid prologue, and review. Anonymous Reviews are always allowed. And if you want, here's a link to an AMV she likes to watch.
But review first. I'm not going anywhere.
