As many of you may have noticed by this point, I've been mostly gone for the last few months. As life continues, it's becoming less and less likely that I'm going to come back for any length of time. I could go into a long-winded explanation as to why, but I'm not going to. In short: I have too much going on in my life right now, and I'm frankly much happier away from here.
SoA the Shop: I am discussing with Meep how to proceed on this. Once we agree on something, I will be editing this journal and posting exactly what our agreement entails. EDIT: This is now posted below. This way you will know, she will know, and I hope shop-life will be able to proceed much more smoothly this time around. For things I owe: PM me for refunds, and let me know what exactly I was growing for you and what it cost. Please, please PM me about this, I want to make sure you get your gold back.
Soquili: If I own a mate to one of your soquili, you are free to dissolve the pairing if you wish; I'll completely understand if you do. If you want to keep them together, understand that it may take awhile for me to reply to anything about the pairing. Thal, Rust, Hiru: If you guys want some of the soquili I have (except a few ones I'll keep for sentimental reasons, or gifts, the rest are available), just let me know.
Personal SoA: If you gifted me a cub from one of your litters, and would like to rehome it, you have my permission to do so, so long as you e-mail me at dustfeather1@yahoo.com or PM me just to let me know you're doing it. I don't mean this as an offense - I love all the SoA I have - but I know that some people have families that they'd much rather see RPed, and so if you'd like to rehome them, I do understand.
Second to lastly - I'm sorry about all this. I really am. I would've loved to do so much for SoA, but since this isn't my job and it isn't going to get me anywhere in life, I just can't spend the time on it like I once could. It's my fault the shop is the mess that it's in; that blame can't rightly be put on anyone else. It was a good time while it lasted for me, and I wouldn't take it back even if I could. There will be some things I'll miss, some I won't. This is Life.
Finally - please don't harass any of my friends about SoA relating to me, as there are a few people I'm still in contact with. I know they sometimes get asked about me, and I'd rather you just leave them alone.
If you would like my contact information just to chat, you can PM me or send me an e-mail, but bear in mind I will not be discussing SoA with anyone, so if that's what you want to talk about, please don't ask for it.

---------------------
SoA agreement with Meep:
Staff: Please talk to one another. 90% of whatever problems come up can generally be worked out so long as you stay open and fair with one another. To that end, I think the staff thread in the guild is a great place to post any ideas or problems you have with anything regarding the shop. No decisions should be made without first posting there, with discussion beforehand to make sure everyone (or the majority) is cool with it. Bear in mind that Meep is not required to send PMs out to everyone on staff to review anything - you should be keeping fairly up to date with the thread, at least weekly. Remember that the final decision on anything is Meep's. Staff should be treated fairly, and equally, and they should be treating Meep fairly in return. Help her. It is not easy to run a shop of SoA's size.
Payments for lineart, anything above and beyond regular colorist duties: In the case of extra lineart (or anything else created for shop usage) made for the shop, all payment for such lineart/etc. should be agreed upon by both Meep and the other party before the lineart/etc. is completed, and staff should be made aware of what they were paid for it. Realize that once you are paid, that lineart/etc. is SoA's, and, by extension, Meep's (or whoever the current owner of SoA is). You can not simply decide to take it back without Meep's approval, and she does not have to agree to this.
SoA and money: At no time should SoA (or any offshoots of the SoA shop) be colored or done for RL money. They may also not be used as compensation (IE, they may not be used in place of another pet from another shop received for money if that pet for some reason cannot be provided). Pet/art trades are fine, so long as they do not exceed two SoA/month per staffer.
Me and coloring: I will not come back and color or do anything - for myself or anyone else - unless I run it by Meep or the current owner(s) first.
Ownership of SoA: Meep may not choose another co-owner, or decide to hand the shop over to someone else, without running it by me first. If that happens, either a new contract for SoA will be created between me and the other person(s), or this contract will then be transferred to the new owner(s), whichever I prefer.
Consequences: If for any reason any of the above is broken, Meep or I have the right to terminate a member of staff from the shop if we think the action was severe enough, or I have the right to either rehome the shop, along with all the lineart, or decide to close it.
