Personality: Harsh, rude, blunt, hiding a soft spot she doesn't want people to exploit. Around her sister she is a different person, mellowing out enough to have a decent conversation.
History: After being discovered in an extremely abusive home with her younger sister, she was sent to foster care where she remained for two years. Very few families were interested in adopting a teenager, especially one with such a harsh personality. The time in the foster system had given her time to learn the things she missed out on in school. She is back up to a high school knowledge level but is still being held back in her first year because of her limited understanding.

Hannah
Age 10
Personality: Happy, bubbly, she is still innocent and naive so she doesn't realize when people are hurting her, but she does know when her sister is hurt and she gets protective.
History: In the same abusive home Hannah lost her ability to speak when she was 5. She has learned to communicate in other ways since she can't talk, and when she was put into the foster system she was taught sign language. Because of her cute personality there were many families who wanted to adopt her but she refused to go without her sister and Teresa's personality was one that normally scared people away. Two years into the system Hannah has gone above and beyond in her learning, absorbing everything like a sponge and testing above her grade level. She could enter 8th grade if she wanted to.
