Hi, my name is Izumi but that's Princess Izumi to you. This is my story of love, death, victory,and un-natraloccurences. It takes place in aincent Japan 1837.
If I rember corectly it was a very bright and sunny day, not a cloud in the sky, but soon out of no where came a heep of dark, black rain clouds. I was very sad that day for my father whuld soon go to war for the country he ruled and one day that responsibilty would be passed on to me. I feared his death for we were very close, and besides my father I had three half sisters, Leaha, who rules the south, Alexa, whorules the west and Arissa, who rules the east. My fatherand I rule the north. I never meet with my sisters that I'm not proud of that, and I was suprised when I recived a message from the south, it was my oldest sister Leaha. It said "Dearest little sister I'm intreged that father has to go to war. As you read this I will be crossing the northern moutians have a servent prepare me a room ..." Ha I almost forgot how bossy she is , "Oh and Izumi I will expect you to look like a lady upon my arival." then it was sigened " Your favorite sister Leaha" favorite sister, woulden't she like to be my favorite sister, Ha.
I was just about to go find my father to warn him that Leaha was comming, when he walked in. "hi Daddy" I said sweetly, I have some bad news. "Well I have some great news" he said. "You first Izumi" he said kind tone. "Ok Daddy, Leaha is comming and she will most likely be here tomarow and she wants me to look like a 'lady' opon her arivil" I looked at him "Why?" he was suprised. "She hasen't been here since your mother died," Oh well i guess if she comes she comes there is nothing we can do to stop her." I said this calmly to not over exert myself, because knowing my father his surprise would be worth screming about. "Well don't you want to know the good news?" he said looking at me like "oh I hope u like it Izzy." I could see in his eyes that was his main thought.
"Well what is it?" i was overwellemed just waiting for him to say what it was. "Well i found you the best samurai in the land. "Why??" I was so confused 'did he not trust me on my own? i would wind up that way no matter what he dose.' "Well Iz you haven't exactly come into your abillities yet..." I looked at him puzzeled "Ummm ok well more about this Samurai." I turned to him with delight in my eyes. "Who is he?" I asked "Well his name is Locku. He is very bright I have to say and i would be very pleased if you even came to like this boy." he had a fathers smirk. "Daddy" "Well Izzy you better get to bed . Oh by the way I got you somthing." he pulled out a beautiful box wraped in white with a black silk ribbon around it. "Ellon helped me wrap it she seems to know what you like better than i do." He handed it to me and i ploped down in the floor to open it. It was a beautiful black silk kemono. "Oh daddy thank you, but what is the occasion?" "Well you are going to go through a stage soon where you will change your looks alot." there was an errie silence it was really akward but i finaly said "Goodnight daddy" "Goodnight Izzy, Locku will be here soon."
I ran upstairs to my room and took a nice long bath it was really calming and all I could think about was Locku. From my dad's discriptoin he was perfect for me. When I got out I started drying my long black hair with a towel. Then all the sudden i felt light headed and I sat softly on my bed. Then just as soon as it came it was it was gone just as quickly. I proceeded to dry my hair whan I felt something that wasn't there before. They were soft and large. I stumbeled over to my mirorr in my room. I stared in disbelife they were TIGER EARS!!!!!!! "DADDY!!" I sreked. He came running down the hall with Ellon right behind him. "Izzy are you alright?" he said examining me. "NO!!?" I exclamed "HOW COULD YOU EVEN THINK THAT!!!???" "awww my baby is the tiger, and an elementialest..." I haden't noticed it yet but outside a storm was raging, the water in my koy pond was going everywhere, all the candels in the house flickered, and there was a small earthquake. I was so scared but i'll learn.
"Izumi !!! GET UP!!!! there is some one i want you to meet." I thought to myself 'oh god he's here... already.' i rushed to get dressed. On my way to the bathroom i triped over a mass of blanketts and surched for the culpret, no one. i put on the dress i got the day befor so i could look like a lady for my sister. my father was waiting for me at the end of the stairs'"You look lovely Izumi-san. Locku is waiting for you in the main dining room." he kissed me on the cheek "Thanks daddy," I took of to the dining room and there stood a boy, he looked about 12 or13 (when he is acctualy 17 a year younger than I) his hair was a golden brown like honey and his eyes were a little darker but close to the same shade. "Well I thought i would be guarding some brat, but u don't look like a brat to me." Every thing else he said was like the chours of 1,000 angels singing in a beautiful harmoney. "Well you are everthing I expected,and more" At that moment i knew i was in love.
"Well Locku, ummm... I have a few things I better tell you befor You find out on your own and freak out. I'm well... a...tiger demon like my mother and i'm an elementalest too. it's really weird i know and it's cool if u just want to leave now." "Wow. I never thought i would meet such a beautiful girl just like me..." he stood up and then it looked like he fell in the floor but a small orange cat jumped up on to the tabel as i sat i a nearby chair. the cat jumped onto my lap and began to purr. I sat there stroking him for a few minutis in silence but i soon broke it, "Locku, do you like the curse? Well i mean is it hard to deal with?" he jumped down "not anymore it's not, when it first happened i really flipped out and it was the worst time for me my mother and father had just died and i was sent to live with my aunt and uncel. When they found out....." he paused and looked down at his feet. "What happened locku?" He looked up again "... they disowned me and threw me out in the street." "Thats awfull, but i know how you feel and i know what you're thinking something like 'well she is just a pampered little girl how would she know what kind of missure i went through' well i don't know that much but i just found out it is really rough and harsh." he was quiter than i had exspeced and then he said "you're right but i never thought you were spoiled or pampered i think your very down to earth, and i like that." I blushed bright red and looked at my feet. "My father never could hug me because he feared i might transform and it would have been nice....." at that moment i lunged outt and wraped my arms around him the last thing i remember thinking was i'm not a tiger. "Izumi you can open your eyes now" i opened them and my head was still resting on his chest. "I didn't turn..." i said. "And i'm not a cat!" he said in surprise. i jolted out of the dining room "daddy daddy... I huged him he is all u said he would be." i looked everywhere he was no where. "Izumi ur father has alresdy left for war."
"What?" i did not want to think he was already gone. "he left right after he sent u in here." he took me in his arms i stood there for a moment then broke loose of his hold. i ran up the stairs to my room where floped over in my bed. i sobed then i heard some one in my room and thought it's just locku. "go away" i snaped, "So sorry, but i can't do that." i turned over to look at the person all i saw was....nothing. someone took me from behind and i tried to screem but only growls came out i said to myself this is itand i heard locku in the distances "Izumi!!!" his voice traided off and soon faded away. this was very sad for me now he has to save me like in a classic fairy tale right? wrong!! then just as i thought that i was dumped in to a huge cage where i found my sisters aswell.
