Black Rose style was created and is used by Azreal Bluesummers.
This martial art takes the focusing of the raw destructive power and then adds a dancers grace as well as focusing more on the Dur'ri parasitic nature and relies on their ability to adapt their host in order to counter attack their opponents.

The thorns: The thorns are the primary offence of the black rose style and come in several kinds which is why they are so effective. the thorns them selves are more along the lines of Ki then anything else and are able to drain energy from the target for the user to make use of or in some cases they just hemorrhage massive amounts of energy (Read blooming thorn)
All thorns unless stated otherwise are delivered through strikes usually palm strikes.

The roses thorn: The basic thorn, while listed as a god slayer attack because of it's ability to bypass defenses (Even if the damage is stopped) And begin draining the opponents energy and while quite an effective and useful attack the basic thorn can easily be removed and or healed.

The seeding thorn:One of Azreal's favorites, the seeding thorn grows "Roots" into the target accelerating the energy draining effect all thorns have but only slightly, these thorns are almost impossible to remove if they fully take root and even if the user releases the thorn the roots remain for months acting like a kind of poison interrupting the flow of energy through their body.

Blooming thorn:A very devastating attack all on it's own, like all thorns it forces the targets energy out of their body but unlike the others the user can not absorb this energy it is simply forced from the target in massive amounts and can quickly deplete a targets energy reserves and even kill them with in minutes of the blow landing. while the blooming thorn is easily healed the fact almost any thorn can become a blooming thorn makes it rather dangerous and hard to anticipate.

Burrowing thorn:The thorn equivalent of an Armor piercing attack and while the thorns them selves bypass all none magical armor and most magical armor there are ways to stop a thorn from embedding, that is where this comes in, it is hardened Ki that will punch through even adamantine like it was tissue paper if enough force is applied but once the this thorn is used it begins to burrow until it gets into the target and is even able to over come the energy absorption of some rare metals and crystals. Once through the defenses this thorn becomes a seed (Those will be explained later)

Exploding thorn: This one should be self explanatory, this thorn is effectively a sticky Ki grenade designed to break open heavy armor or hard shells, similar to the burrowing thorn in purpose it is a vastly different approach.The explosive force is drawn from the targets energy so for example you stick this to an arch mage, really big boom, you stick it to a sickly old man with no energy well he might go boom but that would be about it.

Defensive thorns/Subtle thorns: Two names for the same ability, used almost entirely to bring a slow death, when used defensively the user manifests several thorns all over their body and when attack by an unarmed opponent or grappled the thorns sink in, while they do no physical harm like all the thorns of this style the opponent begins to "Bleed" Their energy away. The subtle thorn is using the same principle only it is useful for weakening guards or opponents with something as simple as a hand shake, it is also quite useful for assassinations, both forms of this technique can become blooming thorns.

Roots of the rose: This technique draws energy from the ground like the thorns draw energy from opponents to replenish the users energy reserves and even accelerates healing but using this roots the person in place with their own Ki.

Blooming rose:This forces out a persons latent potential but it also pushes the body to it's absolute limit, the persons Ki takes a rose like pattern while this stance is in use. it ups all stats, both physical and mental (Actual bonus's very from user to user with Azreal its an across the board 10%)

Withering rose:This stance is used as a last resort since this stance does kill the user, it gives more of a physical boost then blooming rose does and it forces the users energy to be used even tapping reserves that keep them alive. With the massive outflow of energy of this stance only the styles creator has knowledge of how to actually use this stance and he has killed several hosts using it. Once the user leaves the withering rose stance their body is withered as if the very life had been sucked out of it, from this point the user can either accept death (Opponent is dead) or they can drive the first two fingers of their right hand into their heart and convert the mater of their body into a powerful explosion.

hibernating rose:The user becomes lethargic and can even pass for dead if their not actually fighting while doing this but this stance (Though really a meditation) keeps the user alive all be it at the brink of death to repair the body, replenish energy and if allowed to complete this cycle the fully restored user awakens literally as good as new.

Seeds:These are the ranged abilities of the black rose style but they are more devious then you may realize, each seed is Actually an unborn Dur'ri drone egg as well which makes them far more dangerous then the name implies. A seed attaches in a way similar to a thorn but instead of giving the energy to the user it absorbs the energy it's self to gestate and grow.

Bouncing seed: This Ki guided projectile is able to bounce around corners and off of hard objects until either the encasing Ki burns away or it embeds in organic matter.

Explosive seed: This seed is a sterile egg that acts as a Ki grenade launched at high speed at the target, though the blast isn't that big it can still make short work of body armor and squishy unarmored targets.

Penetrating seed: this seed is launched at high speed and hardened by Ki to the point it can handle impacting just about anything, Once it hit's it begins to burrow into what it has struck until it finds organic tissue of the potential incubator.

These are the primary special techniques of the black rose style progenitor martial arts of the Dur'ri.

Dur'ri Progenitors are capable of creating Dur'ri drones, both workers and warriors co create a hive, the size of the hive is dependent on the mental fortitude and power of the progenitor, as the hive grows in size elite drones known as hiveguard drones will begin to crop up and while very rare these drones soul reason to be has nothing to do with the hive but instead protect the progenitor that created their hive though they will defend the hive and rally the warrior drones as if they where generals and heros. while like all other drones they are connected to the progenitor via a hive mind they also have a sense of self and while they must obey they are also highly intelligent.
