I'm really looking forward to Spring break and going to visit my mam and upcoming step-dad and step-brother on land. Anything to get me out of here! There are two mer-jerks who just won't leave me alone...

Mermista and Loralei are such bullfish! I don't know how they always manage to be at the maul every time I swim there, but each time - there they are, swimming a few feet behind me, making snarky comments. First, it was about how much nicer Mermaid hair is than Kraken hair. They said Kraken hair is more like scraggly seaweed than actual hair! I almost inked them right in their faces. Then, they started talking about how much better their school's water polo team is. They even had the nerve to call Blackwater Academy SPINELESS!

Krakens do SO have spines....

I can't even vent to papa since even the mention of mermaids in his presence makes his weather-controlling powers spark up, and I don't think that the ships overhead need any more superstorms to deal with. Uuugh!

I think I'll see if my future step-family are on CRYPTE to talk to. I can't wait to be on land, miles away from ANY mermaids!
