[Diary Entry of July 11, 2014]
"Only hours have passed since my encounter with the succubus known as Raven Slithertongue. If not my confidence, perhaps it was my avarice that led to my downfall. I should have known that capturing a demoness wouldn't be child's play. The sly creature only played captive in my quarters to satisfy her own vile scheme. A new day has yet to come, and already my belly has come to a warm swell. Once this child is born, I have a strong sense that we'll be crossing paths again."

"Upon waking from a heated slumber, I was surprised to find that the swell in my belly had suddenly passed after only two weeks. How can this be? I can feel an eerie presence in my quarters; something, or someone has surely been watching me sleep. Has the succubus from before returned to collect what is ours? Or is the creature I've given birth to lingering in the shadows of my ship?"
