I, personally, have always been interested in rp-ing. It sounds so fun and interesting and good for people like me, who have been stuck in a sort of "writers block" for quite a while. My major issue is that I am practically the opposite of my self in real life. I'm usually talkative and don't mind talking with strangers, but on the internet I just can't. I seem to think too much about my words and by then I become too afraid to say anything. I have never actually successfully role-played. I tried a couple times, but it never went anywhere. I'm so afraid that I won't meet up to the rules and expectations of the thread/rp. It would be good to find a place for beginners. I think that exists, but I forget where. ~Story Time~ One time I joined an rp and it was already going on (mistake 1) so I thought 'oh, I'll just read what's going on a catch up' (mistake 2) and then when I posted I was ignored and that was just a whole bad experience. Another time, on a different site I joined some casual rp (yay) where people had to have only a couple of sentences and by the next hour I was the only one posting. ~Story Done~ The idea of rp-ing intrigues me, but also frightens me.
