Personality: Ruby is energetic and easily excitable. She's more than a little hyper and seems to have boundless energy. However, despite that, she knows when to be serious and when to take things seriously. She's a little childish and naïve, but she means well. She's stubborn and loyal. Once she's made up her mind, there's no stopping her. She'll do anything for her friends, even if it means risking her life. She always keeps her promises, no matter what.
Background: Ruby was an only child who always had her nose in something. She liked to wander and find adventure wherever it came along. Her parents encouraged it, and made sure to teach her the ways of the world, what was dangerous and what was not. She learned which plants were edible and which were poisonous, the places to absolutely avoid, and so on. She even picked up a little self-defense here and there. She is by no means a professional fighting, but she is capable of defending herself or anyone who may be in trouble. She was happy, living like that for a while. However, those happy times would not last.
The Egg Legion attacked. Ruby and her family sprang into action, running for their lives. In the chaos, Ruby was separated from her parents. To this day, she still does not know what happened to them, but she never stays in one place for very long. She has taken to wandering around, dodging the Legion whenever she comes in contact with them. It was during these travels that she met Amari and her brother.
Eager to make friends, the relationship was rocky at best, but Amari eventually warmed up to the boisterous girl. In fact, it was much easier for to make friends with Kanata before she became friends with Amari. Now, there are times when Ruby occasionally accompanies Amari on her digs, always eager to lend a helping hand to her friends.
Abilities: She has an incredible sense of balance as well as enhanced vision in the dark. There isn't much movement that escapes her eyes. She is agile and flexible, and possesses a decent running speed. Her claws are retractable and are very sharp.
Strengths: She has a good knowledge of the wilderness around her and has practically lived off the land since she was separated from her family. She has grown to be a tough fighter and has extremely good instincts.
Weaknesses: Naivety and her desire to keep her promises. She can be extremely trusting and it often gets her into trouble. The same applies for her promises. Anyone can use that to their advantage.
Love Interest: Love? Ain't got time for messin' around. That's just gonna have to wait a while.
