| Men do not have the same pressure that women do. Women are damned if they do have sex (thanks to pregnancy, reputation hits, general 'patterns of acceptable behavior' . . .), and damned if they don't (again, see 'reputation', as well as general relationship conflicts), whereas men? All you have to worry about is getting diseased. If men truly don't want sex, then (presumbly) there must be something CLEARLY wrong with the situation, whereas women? Everything could be perfect and the girl could just be freaked, and if you don't get that a woman NOT wanting to have sex has put the same level of consideration as they would have if they decided to have it anyway, then you just plain don't understand women. |
