2. If you wish to know why you were banned, ask any other mod. They should be able to give you some details as to why it happened. Your registered email will also list why it happened. But in the instance of harassment or trolling usually the offending quote is quoted in the warning.
But just keep in mind that sometimes people don't tell you the whole story and for privacy reasons we can't give all the details or evidence. I'm an art mod and deal with a lot of art theft. Do you have any idea how many times I've been told that I'm "mean" and "unfair" for not allowing someone to post stolen artwork? Posting stolen artwork violates the Terms of Service... it distresses the REAL artist to see their work taken and "sold" to someone. But the thief feels they are the victim because the mean nasty mod and greedy artist won't let them sell it for 500g? I'm completely making up the scenario but I've seen it happen MANY times.
Equally annoying is when they get caught and say, "Don't you have BETTER things to do?"
Are they suggestion thread moves trump art theft cases? They all get equal attention... and in fact usually art theft requires MORE because you have to find the proof.
