The Speed
The adrenaline
So many things going on at once
passion to win, desire, the fire.
It all begins at the starting line.
My hearts beating Am I going to win? Am I going to win?
The gun shoots it starts
the wind blowing against my face, the finish line so near.
I cross it everyone screams.
I smile I got one for the team.
Then I wake up and see
It was all just a simple dream.
I was on my school bus going home and it just came to me I know its not great but whatever I tried. I made this poem because I really want to make it on my school's
Track Team lets just hope this dream becomes a reality ^^.
