I guess perhaps I should set the scene. My boyfriend and I were hanging out with friends. We were in the living room (at this point, we had been hanging out for a few hours) when all of a sudden, he went outside. I thought maybe he was upset about something, so a few minutes later, I followed him. Thinking about it now, I'm pretty sure he meant me to.
I asked him if he was OK, and he told me he was just looking at the stars, which I said was cheesy. We stood out and talked about stars, and he put his arm around me. At that point, Niro's (the person whose house we were at) brother came outside. He's a nice kid, and I know he means well, but he can be a little annoying. Logan asked him to leave, and he did.
We continues talking a little bit, then he kissed me. And it was the most perfect setting. It was night, outside the city - so there was no pollution blocking the sight of the stars, and we were standing on a balcony. Nothing could have ruined it. Enter Krystal's poor handling of delicate situations.
He said the three most scary words. Yes, that's right. He said that he loves me.
Guess what my response was.
I'll give you some time.
Or maybe, it was a sturring 'uh-uh ... uh ...' sort of thing. Either way, it was BAD. I told him that it was really unexpected for him to say that. I mean, we've only been dating for what, a week? Week and a half? He said it was OK, but ... I still feel terrible.
I'm afraid I might have hurt him. I don't want to mess it all up.
What the hell do I do?
