I was watching this documentary-type thingy on tv the other day about how black metal music influences teens to commit murders. Ok so maybe some of them take the whole Satanic trip a little to the extreme, but come on, they're gonna blame the music? Isn't it the parents' fault for not knowing what the hell their kids are up to?
So they claim that black metal music encourages such behavior. Yeah that's what the lyrics are saying. But honestly, who's the idot who would take something like that literally????
I listen to that music, and I can guarantee you won't see me in prison for mass murder (though sometimes it is soooo tempting). All these closed-minded people just consider this type of music to be "evil" or "indecent" and therefore don't give it a chance. And when some horrible events occur that's the only thing they can turn to for the blame.
If something happens in the next few years to somehow ban my music, I will not stay quiet any longer. The rest of us shouldn't have to suffer for the stupidity of all these religious creeps.
